Jackie  sounds like they are being pampurrrred which they will enjoy endlessly!  ;D

The first day I had these two little visitors they were the same, constantly runny bums (and I had the washer on non-stop  ) but they really settled within a few days to having soft poos but not constantly running - they didn't seem to be aware they were even doing it at first.

I think it is partly nerves but they will come around fast.

I am so pleased for you, and for them - they have the perfect home now

 :) here we go then:
Lunch Time Update

Was a weenie bit concerned about Erick (Fiz as well but Erick more) she is a lot stronger than him and has a bit more meat on her (not much on either of them though).  every time he moves his bum was running, so just to be on the safe side, I phoned and had a chat with the vet, we are going to take 3 poo samples each into the vets so she can run some tests (just to be on the safe side).. Babies don't have to go see her yet, will wait until we get the results from the poo and then see what she says... chinese laundry is very busy ha ha. BUT.wait for it.........they have both had a little wash (not a bath) and a very light brush and seem happy and purry, and getting nosier by the minute.  still keeping them in our smaller bedroom so that they feel safe and while they are still runny.  Fiz tries to open the door with her paw and Erick is egging her on from behind .  Meanwhile, John and I are on 30 minute guard duty (need to be watched, so we know who's poo is which!!).  So its my turn next and just thought I would keep you up to date.  Feel very happy and optimistic about these two, so watch this space.

catch you later

John, Jackie, Erick & Fiz

   Good morning everyone

day one
Erick and Fiz had a quiet night and we had our last cuddle at 3.30am.  Went in at  7 this morning and they both came towards me wanting a fuss. (meanwhile, I was armed with fresh litter, clean towels etc etc.  of course I had to fuss first, and then they just watched me as I did their cleaning up.  bit runny this morning, but only to be expected after that journey and new home etc etc.)
All clean and freshened up, fed and watered (they are munching away as we speak).  I went in on my own while John was having a shower and can you believe it.....Eric was trying to climb on my shoulder!!  me thinks he thinks he's a lion.  I wish I was an octapus, I didn't have enough hands!!.  blankets and towels in the washer, daddy is on fuss duty while I keep you posted.

I'm a bit pongy now so am going for a shower, so will update you all later in the day.

Thank you so much for allowing us to give these a home.. :thanks:

catch you all later
Love
Jackie & John. Erick & Fiz

I meant to post this earlier but forgot with being knackered but thought a few of you would get a chuckle out of it  ;)  First of all, I need to say a huge thank you to Dawn and Candice as without them, Fiz and Eric may not have arrived in Yorkshire last night :shy:  After my trip to Ellesmere Port the other night, my Sat Nav conked out, if anyone knows me, they know I'm useless with directions so doing what I do really does depend on my Sat Nav.  I remembered that Candice had one the same as mine and she'd bought a new car with one built in so she was going to sell her other one.  Luckily for me she still had it   :blow kiss:  I rang her up in a panic and big hearted Candice told me I could have it, she is an absolute gem  :Luv:  The problem was then getting it as I was in work, and Candice was in Preston.  Candice arranged with Dawn to meet her in the Trafford Centre to make sure I had it in time to make my journey.  Anyway, cutting a long story short, on the way back from Jackie and John's my son put Go home in the Sat Nav forgetting it wasn't my original  :evillaugh:  All the way home, it gave us different directions to what hubby had given me and we were getting a little peed off with hubby's quotes of "Trust me, I know the roads and where your going", I mean who was I to question him over a Sat Nav  ;)    We were very tempted to ignore what hubby had told us and were just going to follow the directions we were given.........luckily we didn't   :-[   When we were nearly an hour away from home, Craig started laughing and he'd realised the reason we were having to go against where the Sat Nav was telling us is because it was set up to go to Candice's    If we'd have followed the directions, we would have turned up on her doorstep at about 1.45am wondering what the hell we were doing there  :evillaugh:  :evillaugh:  We were glad when we'd sussed it, it gave us a good laugh but made us feel rather stupid

I arrived home about 2.30 with a numb behind, feeling very tired but over the moon for Fiz and Erick  :Luv2:  :Luv2:  Jackie and John are two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet and Fiz and Erick are two lucky furbabes to have such a special mum and dad    I know they will give them a fabulous home, I couldn't have asked for anything else for them, they have really landed on their paws  ;D  They seem to have settled in virtually before we left, Fiz found herself a nice warm spot by the radiator, the heating has been on all day for them so they definitely won't be getting cold tonight  ;)  Thank you once again for opening your home to this pair of sweethearts, and I hope they give you many years of pleasure, and thank you for making us feel so welcome and the gifts

   I thought we wrer impatient ha ha !! you are all worse than us!!  They arrived at nine pm.  Boy are they gorgeous!! Yippee, told you santa was coming today. We got them into their bedroom, and settled in, all sat and had some din dins (them included) and kept going up to see if they were ok.  Only nervous when you first go in the door, but came and sat on our knees and purring their heads off. Dawn has got some fabby pictures and it seems that little Fiz likes to have her tummy tickled by her new daddy xx.   They seem to have given us the seal of approval and we are head over heels in love with them.  Dawn left at 11.30 ish and John and I went and sat with them for an hour of rubs, fuss knees and tummy tickles.  They were tired so we put them to bed for the night.

As you can see we are still wide awake!!! 0254 pm.  Dawn has just phoned me to say she arrived home safely so we are going to have one last cup of tea and then go to bed.

Will update you again in the morning

night night
(Tired, John & Jackie)

thought this might help you:

If you need help resizing your pics the following may help:

http://www.download.com/JPEGCompress/3000-2204_4-10404412.html?tag=lst-0-1

or

Image Resizer for windows XP

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
It's the 10th or 11th on the right hand side .. Image resize.
Once installed right click on the photo you want to resize.
Select resize pictures
Select advanced
Select custom
Put in 400 by 300 (sometimes you have to put in smaller figures if it is still too big).
Click ok and it makes a custom photo ready for uploading

You can resize more than one picture at a time by highlighting them all and following the resizing steps above.

The other way is to upload pictures onto www.photobucket.com   then just copy the ing code under the pic and paste it into the text box of your thread.  If you use this method you don't need to resize the pics  ;)

Yes please Lesley if you don't mind - I don't think they will be the last poorly tummies we see  :evillaugh:

Phil is borrowing a carpet cleaner from a girl in his work who is a volunteer for a local cat rescue so we can clean up after the "meeses" leave - its not too bad but beats me on my hands and knees doing it   :evillaugh:

I can finally get on purrs after being locked out all last night (withdrawals!!)

Am so glad for these babies, they deserve to be pampered and to get lots of love  ;D
Updates are essential of course Jackie...  :sneaky:

Phil went in this morning to see Fiz and Erick and this is a new one.. Fiz rubbed up on his leg and gave him a big meow  :Luv2: - they haven't meowed at us before (except when being bathed because they dont like that  :( ) they are normally a bit scared when you are stood up as they are nervous, so we tend to sit or crouch down when we go into the room, but they are definitely improving  ;D
