Hi all,

todays report is as follows:......Simba and Coco poo is firmer (now steroids incrreased), bright and happy and chasing eachother around constantly....have taken over the house completely

got to go to vets for a check up on the 14th and obviously see what is what with the steroids??? John has got some lovely photos and has now put them on the computer BUT.....I am now having difficulty with photobucket....I can't seem to upload the pikkies...will try again and if I can't do it, then I will ask my faithfull helpful friend Gill sneakyfeline if she can help.

will try in just a minute.

can't wait to see the new photos. Yes if you want the best seat in the house move the cat

it's nice to share your bed with a kitty or two. A bed is not the same without a kitty in it.

Yes, I am sure you are right, so fingers crossed and all that!.

Meanwhile, they have really made themselves at home and both sleep with us each night now. Although they have plenty of other beds (they use them during the day)!!

They have both completely taken over the house! aw bless them.

I hope this is just a temporary relapse and that things will progress to being better again.

I am sure not going to the vets will help cos less stress. Siamese are such sensitive souls and they have been through so much recently

Hi Dawn and everyone else!

They are not doing bad, but we have had a bit of a relapse

poo has got softer and sloppier and we just thought it was the reduction in steroids. Well IT IS the reduction in steroids and so we have had to increase their dose again...We aren't sure really what this means, we will have to keep them on the higher dose again for 10 days and then review it again (unless they get any worse and in that case it will be reviewed much quicker!!). BUT...they are happy enough and bright enough and no more old troubles have reared their ugly heads yet...THINKING POSITIVE

. We were due to go to the Vets with them again today but due to the snow we didn't go and just phoned them and told them what was going on and they advised over the phone. Better for the cats anyway not to have to go back in the basket again. So fingers crossed, and we will just have to see how things go. John got some lovely pikkies, and I will put them up at the weekend (he's got to suss out how to put them on computer yet!!).

Morning all,

yes they are very close, it's lovely isn't it? not like our last 2 siamese

Casper was a lilac point MONSTER and little Mishka was seal point little lady. Casper hated her with a vengence!! and she was scared stiff of him, we managed ok though but had to constantly watch them and separate them completely if we went out of the house!!
So seeing Simba and Coco being so close is adorable

. We have had a bit of loose poo this morning, so will obviously keep an eye on them and see if we can see who's it is!!. They spent the night tucked up together behind John's legs last night, and when they wanted to get us up they threw themselves at the dressing table and scattered its contents all over

Typical orientals rooling the roost eh?

John's going to do a bit of David Bailey with his new camera today so we will post some decent pikkies later.

wow they are gorgeous!!! They really are and what a credit to you after all the medical problems!! I love Siamese cats, my last wee man was Balinese and I would love another Siamese or Balinese once I get over missing him.

Hello everyone,
thanks for all the messages and support. Just to update you all...Simba and Coco still doing good and we seem to have no problems (so far) in reducing the steroids. They are bouncing around like a couple of nutters at this very moment

John is a bit upset though

when I sit down they both jump on my knee and want a hug)...they seem to be avoiding John like the plague though...he said its because they see him as the big bad man that puts them in their basket to go to the vets

poor John.

Can't tell you all how relieved we feel!!

I have been given fool proof instructions on how to put pikkies on, so I will have a go tomorrow.....watch this space

So pleased CoCo and Simba have both put on weight and are getting better ... I assume the "wobbly leg syndrome" was nothing serious (sounds to me like they were probably just being "pathetic" so Mummy and Daddy would pick them up

All foreigns can be very manipulative and as you know Siamese's are the master's of getting their slaves well and truly wrapped round their paws
