I might be speaking out of turn here, Pavvy forgive me, but I think the reason that Pav tries different foods is that Boy goes off foods quickly. What he might like this week he won't eat next?

I hope he starts to feel better soon honey. I got the cat feeder back, thanks, sorry that he was afraid of it   I'm hoping to be round Sunday so will pop in to see you if you're there to give the big man a cuddle. And Phoebe of course

I am sorry BOY's tummy is upset Pav.  I did this a few times with Dragan trying to get some good food into him but maybe it's just best to stick with what he can handle?  I do hope Mr Tramp is ok and isn't ill, bless him.  Well good luck for next week sorry I got the date wrong.

So sorry that Boy has upset tummy and maybe these very rich foods are not a good idea. Wondered why you tried to change his food cos I thought he had stabalized food wise, with little meals often of what he was eating?

Hope you are able to get him stabalized again

Maybe Mr Tramp has been scared by someone and now he is not trusting anyone, not just you. I hope that he gets some trust of you back but it does sound that he really could do with a vet check, which I guess is impossible. Mr Tramp maybe just very old and starting to lose some of his memory. So hard to know  :(

Thankyou Gill,  Boy started having diarrhoea from early hours and now there is blood in it, its the first time that its blood in his poo so i am not sure if it has anything to do with lumphoma ? I have already spoken to Carolin this morning about Phoebe and she said Synulox some times causes diarrhoea and she said to stop it and she should be back to normal in few days, well she stoped taking them anyway :-:, she said she thinks Phoebe conditon is some thing that she has to live with it but still i will call her next wednesday when she is in surgery to discuss this with her, now i have to watch Boy and see if he get worse  :( :(

Thankyou Chrissie, i am ok and sadly MR Tramp hasnt ben around for days now, i do worry for him specially with this weather but its happened before that he doesnt come for few days and the i see his little face out side waiting so i am hoping that he is ok, but thanks for asking about him.

Thankyou so much every one Boy is doing ok! But Phoebe is not responding well to all the medication :( She was fine till yesterday and was taking all the tablets with tiny bit of row chicken and i noticed she had a bit of diarrhoea, which is unusuall for her and this morning she just refused to eat ! I think she tasted the tablets yesterday in the ck and every time i try to feed her she refues to eat cos of the tablets in the food , so i had to stop every thing even the metacam :-: I dont know the reason for her diarrhoea but i think is to do with all the meds. I will call Caroline tomorrow to let her know since the Synulox and other tablets havent made any different in her condition she still scratch and rub her face and leave blood marks  :( So I am not sure if this new treatment is working.....sigh

Hi Chrissie, thanks Boy is fine since his last visit to vets , hasnt been sick :), had to take Phoebe back on wednesday since she still rubs her side of the face to all the corners of table and window handels and all sorts but she does it so hard that it leaves blood marks :( and still scratches her self really bad so i thought i like Caroline to see her since the other vets gave her steroid and antibiotic injections and extract her tooth and she still not well, well Caroline had more x-rays done and she think its traped nerves from her broken jaws, she came to me from mayhew with it and still hasnt healed! She also thinks her behavior is caused by discomfort and pain from traped nerves so she decided to put Phoebe on Xanax, Metacam and Clomicalm and see if they make any difference in scratching her self and rubing her face and being so nerveous , she also gave me Synulox for her but said since its too many medication if she doesnt take the Synulox its fine, the only thing the tablets make her drowsy and its like having her under light sedatives but its for 2 weeks only and then i haveto take her back , she said they really cant treat a traped nerve , there is still small fracture in her jaws but if they put the screw it might make it worse  Since yesterday she has been very calm and just purring she hasnt attacked me or Boy :evillaugh: i dont know is cos she is drowsy or she is in less pain? For next two weeks i have to make sure she takes her tablets in the morning in her food before i leave for work just in case Boy doesnt go and eat her food  and then start with Boy tablets :shify:
Mr Tramp is ok , still has really bad coat last week i ordered a Mat Breaker for him , i read it in Kylies tread , Gillian suggested it and i thought it might help MrTramp but he doesnt come out frpm under the car so i cant reach him  :(
I havent been posting much cos i am working long hours and just dont get the time , but i will try to catch up on sunday and monday , hope every one and their furry friends are well, and thankyou for asking about Boy .

Thanks Chrissie, it went well. Caroline didnt do the blood test she said her concern is diabetes but at the same time the blood test can be negative now and then a week later he becomes diabetic so is best to watch him and if he starts drinking lots of water then i have to call her straight away, she said she will do the blood next month, the only think is Boy has put on too much weight and that is because of the steroids! So she reduced the dose from 2 a day to 1 1/2 a day  and said he need to loose the weight . Other than that he had his B12 injection and we are going back 23rd of April.

Hopefully he will be able to loose some weight by then . :thanks:

Good luck tomorrow. the B12 should do nicely for a bit -how often does Boy have it? hope the news continues to be nothing but positive
Thankyou every one.
Boy has the B12 injections once a month. For the first month he had the injections every week but then i was told once a month should be enough.
