You will probably be finding that Lilycat will come along in leaps and bounds now that the teeth are out.  I remember when Cleo had her teeth out, I do not know how many came out but there were just three left in - once she came home it was like I had a different cat.

Lily came home this evening  :cheer:

I rang the vet today to see how she'd been overnight and they said I could go and pick her up  :wow: the vet told me that they would certainly have kept her for longer but that she'd made it perfectly clear that she wanted to go home  :) as she'd managed to eat some dinner last night and some lunch today!

Went and picked her up at 6.30 and she hasn't stopped purring and headbutting me since :Luv: at the mo she's cuddled up against my leg, purring her head off  ;D

She'll be spending tonight [and possibly tomorrow night] up here with me, her litter tray's here plus her mushy food, some water...and not forgetting her fleecy hammock!

Oh that's great she came through it ok - I'm sure a fuss from her fav human has done her the world of good. Will be keeping everything crossed for the test results, and everyone here is sending her cuddles and kitty-kisses.

Great to hear she has done so well.  Poor girl having 9 teeth out, it's bad enough when you have one out.  Hope she continues to improve.

Lily had the operation to remove her teeth this afternoon...they actually took out 9 including all of her cheek teeth, they did a biopsy of the lesions in her mouth [just to rule out anything cancerous], and they fitted her with a NG Tube which was stapled in place on her head!

When I went to visit her this evening she was a bit woozy but I got her purring and she was SO desperate for a fuss  :Luv: the only trouble was that I wanted to bring her home and look after her - I guess I'll get to do that as soon as she starts eating on her own. I did try to get her to eat something but she was more interested in fusses.

She was purring, then having a bit of a grumble, then purring again  :Luv:  :Luv:  :Luv:

Thanks for all your good wishes, hopefully she'll be home soon  :thanks:
