That's so cute!
I knew a cat like that - he was a
HUGE B&W tomcat called "montgomery", and he lived with 2 other cats, 5 gerbils, 4 rats and a rabbit. The bizarre thing was, he was extremely gentle and affectionate to all the animals he lived with, to the extent that he would "guard" the rabbit when it was out in the garden, driving away other cats.
Yet he was an amazing hunter, bringing home all sorts - birds, mice, shrews, voles, the whole nine yards. He used to "herd" the pet rats and gerbils if they escaped - gently picking them up and returning them to their cages, or keeping them on the sofa beside him till his owners came home to deal with the escapees
. He was one of those cats that could convert you to a belief in reincarnation - I have rarely come across another animal that so resembled a human in feline form!
