LIDL Scratching posts Warning

Maybe their supplier is cutting corners and they think they are getting the same as previous orders.

I suppose there could have been just one faulty batch. I have posts from the last twice Lidl have sold them and they are all fine. I have just checked again to make sure I was not mistaken the fist time I checked.

Lidl stuff is supposed to be made to high German standards. A lot of their things have a quality mark on them. I know this is true as I have some thick bathmats that weigh a ton that have been boil washed countless times and still look brand new. Also the kitchen stuff is well made. Most of that kind of stuff is made in China but should be made to standards. I think they would be interested to know about it. Maybe their supplier is cutting corners and they think they are getting the same as previous orders.

I have just checked all mine I purchased from Lidl a few weeks ago and they are all fine.

OOps they are the Lidl ones, sorry so much needing attention this morning my brain is a muddle,will try and change thread title.

Managed to change title, the reason I rushed to post was  because I know lots of you bought these and I was concerned for our cats.

That was my thought Mark ans was just going to type when the phone rang.

Its frightening as we all know how mad cats can get when they are playing. It could be an eye the next tme 
I remember when I spoke to trading standards in Cheshire, they say they don't have the same safety standards with animal things. If they were a childs toy, they would have to react. Not right!

Each year I purchase lots of the Aldi scratching posts and have found them to be good value until this year.

For some reason this years ones have screws working through and becoming unstable,this morning one of the pens had blood everywhere up the walls fortunately nothing more than a cut paw,this was due to a screw/nail type bit in top circle of the blue post working through,this particular one was put in by manufacturers.
The beige ones seem to be working loose at base of scratcher due to the wood/chipboard being poorer quality.

If you use these please check them daily.

I would report it to them thats if you havent already
