Of course!  My camera's batteries are on charge and will be putting more pics of Flora and of course, Mrs Tibbs (my lovely other foster) on the website asap.  Still no enquiries for Tibbs - she's smashing!

Hi

Flora went to the vets yesterday to have a check up and her vaccination.  She is much much better - still the occassional bout of sickness but is still putting on weight.  Her sight is not so good (I've always thought this) - but no abnormality in her eyes.  She will be staying with me until after New Year and then she'll be off to her new home (my sisters!)

Hi

She seems loads better, but she was a bit sick this morning - whether that's just because she's been eating too much I'm not sure.  She seems a bit perkier and she's crying to get to her two remaining kittens (who are going to their new home on Saturday).

Thanks to everyone for their kind wishes.

Flora Update:

She came home on Tuesday after her operation which went well.  She is eating and resting and isn't missing the kittens at all!  She is still very underweight, but is getting lots of food and has made herself very comfortable in her new bed!  Fingers crossed she is over the worst and will make 100% recovery.

Thanks for all your kind wishes and thoughts - she's a lucky girl!

Get well soon, Flora, so sad you had a setback when both you and Denise did so well with all your babes.

Your house is gonna seem so quiet this Christmas, Denise.

Hope Flora is home soon,

Update - she has been spayed today and apparently she is doing well.  The vet is going to ring me when I get home tonight - so a relief that she made it through the surgery.

Will update you all on Thursday (I'm a part-timer, don't work Tues/Wed).

poor flora..i have seen a dog with this but not a cat..only seen normal mastitiis in them.

I am sure and hope she will be fine..what an awful thing to get and just coz she was such a good mummy.

Ive had mastitis twice and that is awful..you just want to curl up and die as it hurts so much and with true mastitis you get raging flu type symtoms and its really bad...she must be feeling even worse that that.

Hope she gets better soon XXX
