Hello!  :hi:

I've just joined this forum - I'm more of a lurker but I thought I'd better introduce myself anyway!
My name is Bea, born in Italy, raised in Brazil (so forgive the grammar and spelling mistakes!), 41,  living in the UK for 9 years now, about 4 in Herts/Essex border. I'm a servant to one gorgeous part Maine Coon ginger boy, Whee, he's 9 and was born behind my bed in London on the 31st/Aug/98 - it was love at the first sight :Luv:! Hopefully I've got it right attaching his photo...

Besides Whee I used to care for a beautiful black boy for 6 years, who unfortunately had to be re-homed due to health and behaviour problems around 7 months ago, I miss him SO much but it was the best thing to do for both cats as they're both much happier and healthy now.
Also I've got two baby rats, Parsley and Ratty Potter, 4 months old. They haven't been formally introduced to Whee yet, but I've had rats and hamsters before and none of them ended up as a snack, thankfully!

I love all sorts of creatures (providing they have 4 or less legs, I have a phobia of insects and lobsters/crabs! Yeah, really!) specially horses, owls and goats. And cats of all sizes of course! I go to zoos and parks and country fairs whenever I can just to see (and photograph until my fingers hurt!) the animals. Besides animals my other passions include all things purple, collecting cat stuff, Daleks and anything Beatles related! And I do quote Sponge Bob Squarepants much more than I should for a lady of my age

Have a good weekend everyone!

Bea
