Just got this reply from Whiskas  :tired:

Dear Mark,

Thank you for contacting us regarding Whiskas Senior pouches.

We currently have several varieties of this product available, however, these are only within a multipack. We can completely understand your comments and fully appreciate why you would prefer to buy this product in single varieties. However, shelf space restrictions in supermarkets have resulted in both the retailers and ourselves being unable to offer this range in single varieties.

If you need any further information or advice please contact our Consumer Careline on the telephone number below and one of our Consumer Care Advisors will be more than happy to help you.

Kind regards.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

As I thought. I was hoping one of the zooplus type places might sell them  :(

Hi Mark,

Sorry, no go at Sainsburys although I could swear that I saw some on a previous visit, I'll keep looking out for you on my travels.

Cheers

Just had a quick look, can't find anywhere. Can you find another cat owner to share boxes with? Maybe there is a cat out there who hates the fish and loves lamb?

Wishful thinking  :evillaugh:

I know they sell a limited range of regular pouches as singles but senior is unlikely. A huge comapny like Mars/Masterfoods won't entertain a direct order. Although, it has got me thinking. I will ask Sharon - she buys direct from Purina - Clapton won't touch any Purina food (ie Felix) but wondered if there is a deal with Whiskas  :-:

Maybe you could contact Whiskers and see if they would do a special order for you, after all they are about keeping the cats happy  ;)

will eat the poultry flavour, once in a while will eat the rabbit flavour and never eats the lamb flavour - so basically I waste 1/2 box - which means he gets through a box a day

We get loads of food donated to us for this very reason. ;D

I get Tesco home delivery and I notice on the site that they sell indivdual food.   Don't know about the sachets though.

The reason is that Clapton loves the Whitefish flavour, will eat the poultry flavour, once in a while will eat the rabbit flavour and never eats the lamb flavour - so basically I waste 1/2 box - which means he gets through a box a day  :tired:

It would be great if I could buy just the whitefish flavour so he is eating senior food.

I know in supermarkets they sell regular chicken in jelly in single pouches but maybe one of the petfood warehouses sells othere?

Longshot I know.....
