UPDATE:  A crush cage is being sent to Josie [Thanks to Sue @ mymoggy].  She is very pleased and said thankyou, also she said she has two charities now that are prepared to pay for neutering and spaying, she is going to speak to the vet,  and planing to start trapping this week.  :)  :thanks:x

Update:

I have been informed that thanks to some very generous donations (you know who you are .... thank you  :Luv: ) Josie has bought 2 traps which they can use for future rescues :) , also she has found a charity to help with neutering and she has found some foster homes as well. So things are looking good, finger crossed.

They could try contacting Gill Stampe. She is the cat sitter I used in London. She has a lot of contacts and goes out neutering &  returning etc.

There is a large colony of stray and feral cats in the Whitechapel area, which are in need of speying and neutering.
We need equipment to help us catch the cats as well as people who are prepared to spey & neuter at short notice.
We need 2 cat pens, 2 traps and if possible a squeeze trap.
Our contact is feeding the cats and is able to keep two pens for them to recouperate in and drive them to speying & neutering appointments.
Contacts like these are invaluable and we are hoping someone can help her to help the cats.
Some cats will not be able to return to the site and will need to be rehomed. If you can help in any way please contact Josie on 07852 166883 or email wysiwig@blueyonder.co.uk
