hiya,

Alfie likes to roll up and fight my kitchen rugs but the sheepskin ones seem to have a calming effect, maybe as he's white and fluffy and they're white and fluffy they remind him of his mum.

Cheers

Leigh, you're onto a winner if all they want to do is sleep on the rug.  Bella's interaction with rugs involves either taking a run-up to them and then skidding across the wooden floor on them so they end up in a heap in the corner, or rolling them up and fighting with them.  ;D

Although a slice of his considerable wedge wouldn't go amiss :)

They're both still on the rug doing some serious chillin' :)

Cheers

hiya,

Well I suppose it wasn't exactly a risk purchase as they both like the old sheepskin and I've spent more on cat beds that they just look at and then totally ignore :). We all spoil our puds rotten don't we,  you can't put a price on seeing them happy and contented it's priceless :) and I've still got the smaller rug as an extra for Suzie if she fancies it. I think Alfie thinks it's his mummy as he milk treads it like mad.

Cheers

Gosh that rug looks soooo cosy.   Your cats seem to be  very well catered for so I'm not going to let my two see it or they'll get ideas

Hi Mark,

Oh yes, they've got me well trained :) , felt sorry the other day when Alfie nabbed the rug and Frankie ended up with his head on one corner and the rest of his body on the carpet :)

Cheers

Had me worried for a minute  :scared:

hi folks,

As some of you might have read in in one of my recent posts the boys lboth love to fall asleep on my small bedside sheepskin rug but it's too small for both of them so I decided to buy a larger one today. I got in from work and replaced the old rug with the larger one henceforth to be referred to as "R", the time of rug laying. Alfie watched me intently and looked at me whilst I was picking up the old rug as if to say "oh no! he's taking my favourite rug away" but then I layed the new rug and at R+2 seconds....

At R+37 Frankie who'd been in the Kitchen pre-occupied with the very serious job of eating, waddled into the bedroom, took one look at the new rug and....

I had a peek into the bedroom and, at R+6 minutes and 12 seconds .....

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together :)

Cheers
