So sorry to hear that Tez. Sounds like congestive cardiac failure from your description but I guess the vets know best. How sad to lose her. It seems like fate that you have those two busy little kittens to keep you distracted.

Kitty peacefully pasted away at 4:30 this aftrenoon  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(

They done some xrays and you couldnt see her heart as it was surrounded by fluids and her lungs were tiny they tried to drain all the fluid but sadly her heart stoped whilst they were doing it they tried to bring her back but had no luck  :'(
They think it was a tumour of some sort but may of even been FELV they are sending the fluids of to the lab to be tested.

Me my gf and her mum havent stopped crying since we got that phone call.  :'(

I hope she's feeling better today. I think asthma is very controllable these days.  :ahh:

I'm keeping everything crossed for her.  I hope she's better today.

The insurance will cover emergency treatment provided your vet can verify it was necessary.

insurance should cover an emergency call out if it is actually an emergency. They require a statement from the vet that it was a life-threatening incident. Hope she is better by now.

  :thanks:

Me 2 she was till panting like a dog when they took her im so worried about her and my gfs blaming herself for not taking her to the vets when she first started coughing a couple of weeks ago but like ive told her it seemed like a furball we gave her the paste and she got better so she isnt to blame.

Hopefully theres some good news in the morning, Dont know how im going to pay the bill as according to the vets my insurance wont cover the emergency call out fee
Going to read my policy now

As you all know kitty had to go to the vets earlier in the week as i believe she has feline ashtma she has an appointment for tommorrow to do tests but i have just now had to phone the emergency out of hours vets as she has been coughing loads and cannot breath without panting like a dog she has cry all round her eyes and is breathing very heavily  :'(  :'(

Im sorry but i just had to share this with someone as both me and my gf are both very upset she is only 1 years old and really don't want to loose her.

I think even the kittens know she is ill as they are both laying right next to her and keep licking her  :Luv:

I will let you all know on any progress
