time to move to the tropics Gill!!
No, I really like Cold, like Hannah says, warm living space, lots of layers and a cool to cold bedroom - bliss. Cuddling down under a duvet with it piled over your head is my idea of heaven. :Luv:

i like a cold bedroom too.  but get cranky if i'm in the lounge and cold.  but living up here i have got very good at wearing many clothes to keep warm - its all in the layers.  i HATE being too hot though, my uni building is ridiculous and so hot all the girls are wearing strappy tops and still warm in the middle of winter with the snow outside!!  i loathe it!!!!!  except one room which is soooooo cold we all sit wrapped up in coats and scarves etc and still freeze!!

glad the puss kits woke up eventually!!  jasper does that occassionally - usually is wanting his dinner about an hour before he gets it and is very vocal about it but sometimes snoozes through - always worries me a bit!!!  :shify:

Ahhhhh well you are lucky cos its only hovering around 70 here and its also got drafts and I got heating on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but reckon its heating up cos I had turned it off.

The place just doesnt stay hot at all and in summer it was cold everynight cos it wasnt warm enough poutside to get heat inside. It seems to have been colder during summer since I put in loft insulation, I think any heat in loft not getting into the house but heat in house is escaping through floors and walls.

I have never ever had to use heat during summer before ever in my life.

there's a difference between cool and so cold your head hurts, although i am quite partial to that as well, you just huddle the duvet over your head so just your nose is out. Mind you, I get bad sinusitis if i do that too often...

I can't sleep unless I am have the douvet over my head, then Grwndi lies on my shoulders and Ging is on my head, its a wonder I'm still alive isn't it?  Its a childhood thing and I just can't get out of it :innocent:

My bedroom was freezing but I dont like cool either, I like it very warm  ;D

Cool make my legs itch and the less bedclothes the better so after I did the loft last year have used a summer weight duvet all the time even in the  :censored: summer cos it never got warm enough to take it off.

Oh my goodness you two

I love my bedroom nice and warm , same as the rest of the house, the cold makes my head hurt and when I moved here they had taken up all the insulation in loft and just putting a half inch back helped but now I got a full thick layer except its not down properly over bath room, so must do that.

When I can afford it gonna also insulate the eaves and want to get walls done next year.  ;D

I think I may just turn the heating up and get a restful night... :shify:

Only problem with that theory is i prefer to sleep in a cool room - too warm I am awake all night.  :(

I'm the same bc,our upstairs is cool so the heating thing cant be keeping them up there :evillaugh:  I can't stand warm bedrooms personally, only time I'll put heating on upstirs is when we have a hard frosty night and thats on very low just keep the water flowing :shy:

btw they have eventually come down and had their tea and Ging is sitting down with us watching deal or no deal :evillaugh:

in the past, cold gloomy weather has been guaranteed to send mine off to bed for hours. Even when I had the fire going full blast. It's a comfort thing, I do the same myself...

Ging and Grwndi are upstairs sleeping and its way passed their tea time, its usually anytime between 3 and 5,usually they are under my feet, could this gloomy, miserable weather be making them more sleepy?

I ain't drugged them,honest :shify:
