I saw one squashed in the road yesterday to - another youngster too. It was dusk. I could se the cute nose. I couldn't stop though as there was a line of traffic behind me and it was a busy but narrow country lane.
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Can understand how you feel and would like to send you lots of hugs  Baby hedgehogs are very vunerable at this time of year as they have not put enough fat on to hibernate and will not survive the winter. The best thing to do if you find a live one is put it in a box and take it to a rescue centre, There was nothing you could do smudgepickes hedgehogs come out at night buit these were out in the day which is not good news meaning they were underweight.

Went out to bring my girls in from the field this afternoon only to see not one but two dead baby hedgehogs  :( :( :( one was completely flat the other had a hoof mark over its front half of the body.........it has really distressed me to think they were squashed by my horses..... my husband and I put them on the bonfire so they didnt get squashed anymore. I wish I hadnt put my horses out today now  :( I found them at 1.30  and at 4.30 there was a beautiful rainbow. I so hope it was theirs

RIP little ones no more pain at the bridge Im so sorry  :( :'(  :sorry: :candle:

 :RIP:
