We use the program injection on 34 of the Clan Cats, Ace the nasty feral along with Sailor gets a sneakup Profender and all are still given Millibex and the larger folks a Drontal

Millibex can be hidden in American fried chicken and all our ferals will eat one so thats our way the others are a chuck down the throat and stroke or a 2 parent job as some of them suddenly realise its that time and become leggy shredders!

We worn quarterly and program every 6 months.  Our worming bill for this lot and the outside crew is £135.00 every 3 months and we are quite lucky that some forget what happened previusly but it is a miliatry style operation with a list then we know who we still have to do!

If it works then this is the best option also the vet plan which i find crazy must be a catch id say 20 quid a month for all flea , worm, booster, check ups and  vets fees coverd is a bargain its a scheme run by a vets in cardiffhttp://www.heathvets.co.uk/payment/index.htm
 but if only have to make the odd trip then better all round.

From now on, I'm going to use Stronghold. Frontline seems to have stopped working on the fleas here.

I have had panacur favourites (or something like that?) for mine and they scoff them no bother, saves the hiding in food tricks or fighting with the cats!

Any one heard of program flea control injections ?   any good   i may have to consider this as an option
Honestly speaking  i cant get near her most of the time to find a spot to put the frontline on and if i start messing with her neck off she goes tried to find a spot tonight nothing the nurse showed at the vets with a stuffed rabbit 
if i can get her flea, worm and booster done in one go this seems better than me fumbling about annoying and scarring her

Mark there are 2 strengths of milbemax so they havent been OD'd

i WOULD NOT CRUSH EITHER TABLETS.
Put one straight into the back of the cats mouth, hold mouth shut and stroke neck till she swallows

Just to say think would is a typo for would not, if I am wrong please tell me or a mod and I will take this out

I'm certain our vet gave 5 x 9wk old kittens a whole one each yesterday - maybe as they have the runs and she though they were badly infested?

Drontal taste foul and make cats foam at the mouth so its rare for them to be eaten in food!
Milbemax are much smaller and a 4kg cat uses half so it can be easily hid in a treat eg. cheese or defurrem or ham. These need a prescription to be bought online.

Failing that you can buy a spot on wormer called profender from your vet (or get a prescription for vet uk) they are pricey tho 

Just bought pack of 3 frontline from vets 18.99    less than that for pack of six from vet uk didnt think they would charge that much extra.

Vets are a rip off for frontline. If you buy through vet uk then please use a rescue link so they earn some money from your sale.

Is it possioble to crush ethier one of these into food ?

If the pills cant be crushed ill have to get them from the vets when she has her booster and get them to giver her tablet the same time.   

Also having probs finding skin on mary any online guides to applying front line any where ?
