1 x Tortie Tabby Princess

1 x Brown Marble Bengal male

1 x Brown Spotty Bengal male

and living @ Rainbow Bridge
1 tabby boy
1 brown spotty Bengal Boy

And I love each and every one of them, from the tip of their nose to the tip of their tail, and each strand of fur.

Interesting that black cats that are supposed to be less popular are currently the most numerous.

Hm... I can't find the box to tick for "Red Silver Tabby and White"...

At least Monkey is pure black (I've had black cats most of my life, but all the others always had a collection of a few white hairs under their chin or something - but not Monkey!). It's easier when you have to fill in forms at vets etc... Poppy's colour never fits!  Not to mention that there's never enough space for "Norwegian forest cat".

Yep!! I like what I call dilutes, the ones that are more like grey cats with bits of cream in them - or as my friend called the one she saw last year 'blue and pink'!!
I was told once my joojoo was blue/pink and i thought ya, what next blue&green, but i foundout there are blue/pink!

You can get cream coloured cats (cream is just a dilute of red), but they are generally pedigrees. My neighbour has a cream and white cat, here is a pic

I understood what you meant about cream colour but didnt think that there was a cream coloured cat except maybe when they are torties  ;D

I know my Ducha is very cream looking but he is a blue point.

"Blue cream tortie" so I was right putting tortie then. Complete fluke  ;D

She was small, very beautiful (different shades of grey and fawn) and a complete spitfire who ruled me without mercy. Mustn't get maudlin....

Dingle looks like a tortie to me but maybe a dilute tortie, thats when the colours are lighter and more pastel shades.

She looks lovely in her picture  ;D

I included my lot since leaving home including Bridge babes. 3 black, 2 B&W, 2 tabbies, 1 white/tabby, 1 tortie(?)

If I went back to before I left home there would have been many more black and B&W. I simply don't understand their unpopularity in the world outside Purrs.

Wasn't sure what to put Dingle down as but plumped for tortie which isn't right I know. What do you think? We had a drawing done of her in 1992 when she was 15 and it is as good as a photo of her esp the colouring. She passed away on my birthday in 1997 just short of her 21st birthday so it will be 10 years next Saturday. I loved that wicked bundle  :Luv:

Gil, i did put my bridge babes which i had since i came to England, but i've had kittys since i was six years old and in my country you find very few people which have cats or dogs indoor ,some who love animals feed them out in garden and...,so i was allowed to have one or two...cat as pet indoor and many more in our garden which i would lookafter during summer school holiday and then some would come back next year and stay so i am not sure really if i can call them my babes?? And they were mixture of all colours and ages ;),the ones i looked after inside if i remember right were:  2 B/W      3 GINGER       3 TORTIES       1 BLUE      1 WHITE+GREY SPOTS    2 TABBY    1 CREAM :Luv:

Well I am sorry that Harry is so snooty cos this thread is really about black, and B&Ws to see if Purrs people seem to follow a trend of not having these colour cats.

So Harry will have to come down to earth with a bump cos he is just one of the rest really :shify: :shify: :shify:

Purrs people it seems are very likely to have or had one of the lovely Black or B&W cats and it looks like we dont care about the colour, whats more important is its a cat that needs ahome  ;D

So Harry mate, you can figure in this poll or not and thats up to you

Yes I suppose Harry does look like that, but there are darker and lighter shades of grey. I would call the darker shades blue and the lighter gray. Eg Pearl is blue and Harry is gray lol.

There is nothing posh about Harry and he feels a bit of a girl if he were to accept this lol.

Harry says "not everything is black n white" we have a grey living here too.  :bum:

Mosi did get a bit stroppy when he found out I'd put him down as ginger.  He insists he's red and not ginger but I told him if he had a problem with his colour description, he could sort it out with Gill himself.  I'm not getting involved.
