Items have to be able to go through the post and auctioneers will have to pay the postage, and so do the sellers but it goes to the rescue fund  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

The Purrs auction will be in late November so keep watching for updates all  :shify: :shify:

hhhmmmmm, That could be a problem cause some of the items are big, 3 month old portable tv/remote, Submersion suit although
computer stuff, cordless mouse, webcam, 100's cassette tapes pc games playstation games should be ok for posting, but then again
I dont know if I would be Home?? (Job)
there is a big car boot sale at thainston near aberdeen, and I was trying to get hold of Local Cats protection League's to see if they
did car boot's for funds?? or if they knew anyone who might do it on behalf of the Cats Protection
I'll still give them a call later today ;)

It looks like they have found a way round ebays rules. There has to be something for sale. In this case, the bidder gets an email with a certificate for their payment. Maybe more rescues can benefit now. I'm sure Ebay aren't going to complain as they still get their fee and % + more money on the paypal transaction  >:(

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Hi Stuart

I think Dawn will be interested in this cos ebay stopped her from doing this! but this is the second of these type sales we have a link tro from ebay in last month.

Just to say that Purrs run an annual Christmas Auction in November so if you have any items that would be suitable for this please hold on to them. I havent named the date yet or the rescue that will benefit , but last year about £1600 went to Rons Rescue at Brighton, who were doiwn to their last penny.

We run it for two crazy weeks and its loads of fun, See this thread from last year:

Hi People, I was searching for somewhere local in my area (fraserburgh) to donate a heap of stuff for the cat protection
Unfortunately all the numbers I have phoned there is no one in, I'll try again later.
But i was looking on e-bay to see if I could find somewhere else local (you never know)
and came across this " which I thought was a good Idea for other branches of C.P.L. to do as well
