It would be nice if everyone from CatChat managed to find their way onto this site, especially as there are those who are banned or do not wish to go on the Hovel, but would still like to keep up with the old CC crowd. Me and Rufus are mainly on www.katnip.co.uk but we will check in here from time to time.

Absolutely gutted about CC ... I don't have that many friends in the real world and CC was a very special place to me. I was in floods of tears last night when I heard it was closing down and now we have all separated off onto different sites.

Fingers crossed it will be back soon.

Desley, I think once word gets out (and we can all spread it) many will find their way here naturally. Last night I think we were all so shocked - we just all want somewhere we can keep going. Cat Chat was like a huge extended family. It's so kind of Abby to have made space for us on The Hovel, and for Tan and her hubby to have set this site up.

I suspect user-friendliness will play a big part for us displaced persons.

I'm here - it's a shame we didn't have enough time to get this sorted before most people moved over to Hovel, we could do with people coming here for the auctions - Ron really is so dedicated and deserves all the money he can get. At least some of us are here - I wasn't looking forward to having to 'fit in' again and go through all the explanations, I have been on CC for just over 2 years now!!

It's a shame that we will all be so dispersed. I think this forum is easier to use than the Hovel or FF, though I've join both of those two.
Eventually, I'll have a fave and stay with that.
The others seem too complex to navigate.

yawn... just spent all evening with Charlie except when he was asleep. He is now a very happy boy jumping up and down! He is supposed to be still sedated!

You know, I found it so annoying that they didn't inform you mods much earlier so you can set a new site up sooner.

It now seems everyone is over the Hover. It was annoying to see Abby was so enthusiastic over getting new members.

So upset about CC. It's been a big part of my life for 3 years and i am going to miss it terrible.

It's just not the same on different forums but if we all can keep in contact on other forums and here, when hopefully CC comes back we all will know!
What a day that will be.

Thanks sooooooooooooo much to CC towers for all they have done.

I will still be reading the CC cats diary every day to keep up with the wonderful Col, Gemini and pickford.
