brilliant idea. Hope you and the yukka survive. All those years ago (nearly 16, sigh) Swampcat lost all his baby teeth in OH's arm. He liked doing wheelies, biting hard on his arm while being wheeled around - so wouldn't worry about the clothes horse hurting him badly. Climbing the yukka's better than climbing visitors' legs.....:)
edit: depends on the visitor  :evillaugh:

I got some of them large pebbles to cover the soil in the Yucca.. they look quite nice so am quite nice ! Leo has now resorted to climbing it !!!!  He's so cheeky  ;D
He is biting everything plastic at the moment.. even the metal clothes airer (???) this freaked me out as his teeth are so little & I don't want him to hurt himself.. it must be horrible to bite somthing like that !

I knew that was gonna be next  :evillaugh:  If he is destroying your plant then i suggest moving it to another room/out of his way  :)

re: the biting.....dont worry as he is only doing what is natural for him, sometimes you may notice some blood on the gums or teeth and this is normal too....if your lucky enough you may even find a little tooth sticking in somewhere (i found one in the bottom of a door) when the new teeth are coming through  :Luv:  ;)

Will he still be teething at 13 weeks ? his teeth are so little !

A kitten will have their adult teeth by approx 7 months old  ;)

Gizmo uses one of my large outside plants in a tub both as a toilet and scratching post - young Ellie was watching with interest so I don't think the plant will last too much longer !

the big teeth on mine came through at about 5 months, at one stage Tilly had two canine teeth on each side which looked pretty scary!

Also a very good idea ! Thank you.. went to the garden centre & found some large pebbles so they will do the trick I think.. I do have some of the smaller glass ones but im scared as he is so young & chewing everything at mo (including shoes !) he may swallow one..

Will he still be teething at 13 weeks ? his teeth are so little !

I went through a phase of using the glass nugget things they sell to cover the soil in my plant pots. Looked quite pretty. :)

I tried small shingle type stuff to cover the soil in my plants a few years ago, until Max developed a new game of skooting it all over the floor .... I guess it looked too much like his old cat littler, which he also skoots all over the floor  :innocent:

Learned last year that house plants are nice but mud tracked over the carpet isn't ;)

Is there another place you can put the plant? Out of Leo's way?

Or you might try some of that boundary stuff that you spray on things to keep cats away from? It only works though if Leo's nose works, Lirael's doesn't so she ignores the stuff.

Have you tried covering the soil with something? Maybe he'll be less interested then.

Leo has taken to jumping in my pot for the huge Yucca plant I have. He keeps trying to play with & munch the mud out of it.. will this harm him ? Ive tried the water spray, firmly say NO & bring him away.. It didnt deter him what so ever & jumps straight back in it ! (4 times) Do you think he thinks im a soft touch ? Everything I tell him not to do he does.. once I tell him off he does it all the more! Its like he is too clever for me ! Any tips ?

I woke up at 7 again this morning to his loud purr on my pillow.. :Luv:
