Cats don't come when they are called,
They take a message and get back to you later.

What more could I ask ? He always uses his litter tray, eats like a trooper, doesnt disturb our sleep, chats to me, makes me laugh untill my belly aches with some of the little things he does !

He has sneezed about 3 times since being here.. If they have had Flu jabs does this rule out Cat Flu all together ?

He sleeps everywhere but the bed I bought him !

Ah, doesnt he look at home.  :Luv: - my Gwyn is eating for England too LOL! Having the jab doesnt rule out cat flu, but its more likely to be the change in environment - as Gwyn's breeder put it - how the stress of the move might manifest itself, i.e. sneezing, especially if they are 'poking their inquisitive noses into places you thought were DUST-FREE'  ;D

Such a cutie! Xanthe chirps like that too - it's a lovely sound. He seems to have settled really well!

Ahhh Lisa he is lovely and is obviously a very well behaved boy.

I wouldn't worry about the feathers on his toy ... they should be fine.

Lovely pics xxxxxxxx

Well this is the 4th day of having Leo & its all too good to be true !   :Luv: :cheer: :yesss:

I don't know about other Maine Coons but when he is playing he will let out a little chirp & when I go out of the room he will let out a few meows ! I am desparatley trying not to overly fuss him as friends have said "Lisa you always hear people saying that it is essential that indoor cats need lots of play etc.. but we really think YOU should leave him alone now !"   :evillaugh:  Another thing I have noticed is that  he doesnt mind at all me touching his paws.. front or back.. he will just move towards me & lick my hand !  :Luv: He really doesnt mind his belly being tickled which every cat I have had previously has hated !

Last night we left all of the doors open as he was so good the night before & yet again not a peep from him ! He jumped on the bed between us for ages but just went to sleep  :Luv: This morning I woke up at 7 to find him playing with his favorite toy.  (A tiny carrot with feathers poking out of it that cost peanuts!.. is it safe for them to play with feathers if they bite them ? )  He plays with it & then trots around the room with it in his mouth ! It looks so cute  :Luv:

Now about night times.. is this just too good to be true & do you think at some point he will wake us up all the time ?

What more could I ask ? He always uses his litter tray, eats like a trooper, doesnt disturb our sleep, chats to me, makes me laugh untill my belly aches with some of the little things he does ! Always either chirps at me & comes sit on my lap or will snuggle into the side of me.. I am just so happy he seems very content & has settlded in so well. I really really really don't want to go back to work  :(  I have been popping in & out today so he knows I go out & always come back.. I have to go back to work on Fri but will continue to keep going out & extend the time as I go. He is always just still asleep anyway when I get back & stares at me as if to say " You didnt think I would miss you did you mummy !!"

He has sneezed about 3 times since being here.. If they have had Flu jabs does this rule out Cat Flu all together ?

He sleeps everywhere but the bed I bought him !  He even uses his bright pink carry case as a bed which I thought he would hate as he goes in the car in it!  Here are a few pics of the little man..

Thanks for reading
Lis x
