It never ceases to amaze me how people who will go to the length of placing a 'lost' advertisement don't appear to have the nous to look in the 'found' advertisements.

Exactly, its not as if te are in random places.

1. newsagent windows
2. vets
3. local paper

Its a no-brainer really

So pleased this little one will be going back home soon.

It just shows its worth a call - it was only to pass the time because OH went in to get a paper and scratchcards - I wasn't looking for a busty blond or a lawnmower  :evillaugh:

Good luck with yours Dawn

Funnily enough, me and OH have seen "lost cat" and  "found cat" adverts in our area.. the lost cat says he is a maine coon, gives description etc and the found one just says "found male cat" I expect for the same reasons. We are going to ring the number on the lost cat ad and give them the found cat number and hope its a match  :)

Meant to do it last night actually but it completely slipped my mind  :-[ no phone on me today cause I forgot it  :censored:

To think I might not see those eyes, makes it so hard not to cry, and as we say our long goodbyes, I nearly do.

The scary thing is it had to cross a main road to get to where it was found. Also with all the chavs & other lowlifes that hang around the co-op & library, he was lucky this lady picked him up.

I saw a postcard in a newsagent window today "found kitten" - I rang the number and asked the lady if she had reported it to CP - She said no but she had phoned the RSPCA and left a message. I said, if she gave me a description, I would inform our lost & found. She said she didn't want to tell me the colour as if anyone claimed it was theirs, she would expect them to describe it themselves (her heart was in the right place - she even put postcards in local shops and posters up). Anyway, she reported it and details were passed to Sharon. She agreed to keep it for a week. Tonight, Sharon was looking at our vets lost & found section (he's not the nearest to where the cat was found) They have a missing kitten listed (young cat) matching the description. Hopefully this lucky kitty will be going home tomorrow  ;D
