Good to know there's a fine senior officer keeping that Derbyshire Regiment on it's toes.  I knew there had to be a feline of distinction behind them, (these human types wouldn't have a clue on their own, you know, quite hopeless they are some of 'em).

I'm impressed to see that your uniform's looking rather decent these days too, well done m'lad, well done!  I know what you mean about having 'little critters' on board, when I arrived at Cat Chat Towers I had a rather unwelcome brigade of, um... how shall I say... Internal Wigglies I believe is the polite term, awfully undignified business.  Still us superior officers are made of stern stuff, eh what?  Bet you gave those fleas the old one-two!!

Righto then, time I was off to marshall the troops, I do believe it's ten-past my mid evening cat-milk time, and that won't do, won't do at all...

Yes chaps it's Corporal Smokey and Beau and I have corresponded on occasion. His chums at CatChat help my humans all the time.

I can see why you'd want to see a pictue of me, I'm so devilishly handsome!

Hello! Corporal Smokey here.


Thought I'd join and share fun and rescue stories with you from my humans. I'm a persian at heart, but an honourary moggie, as I was rescued in a terrible state. I was riddled with fleas, ticks and other critters and I have a flea allergy. When Amy, my female human, got me I'm ashamed to say that I was terribly stinky and covered in scabs.

After a bath  and weeks of love, I'm starting to look a little more normal. I do have a need to help other cats with a similar plight so I help my cousins at Ashfield and Amber Valley Cats' protection.

My colleague, a British Blue rescue called Josh may occasionally post for me under my name when I'm busy chasing "Mr Mouse" but I'll never be far away!
