I must be an exception then. I hate "dust traps" (ornaments)
And I am always chucking stuff out as I can't see the point of keeping anything unless it has a function. That includes card, letters etc. (+ no point upsetting yourself over past regrets  :evillaugh: )

I have allowed myself 2 ornaments but they (I think ) aren't tacky both cats  :evillaugh:, one is from a pottery in hungary (I think) and the other is a cast metal cat.

I personally would not buy one and would hope no one would ever get me one  for a present, having said that I am sure many people would be very happy to have such a 'thing'.

no its not the same as i had before tan but i think john lewis sells those type and i must admit the plaster looks more like a good quality plaster of paris type rather than the plaster/clay type i had.

Personally i'd not have one for my cats, however before i had children i probably would have.  These days for me anything like that would be of the kids but for many i could see the appeal.

Do you have to buy them in bulk ?  perhaps you could advertise them but order to suit demand which means peeps would just have to wait a wee bit longer to get it, that way your not out of pocket.

No, they don't do it for me, TBH Tanni - I wouldn't buy one. I find this sort of thing a trifle tacky and just a tad overpriced.

I know it's hard because you've got to find something for everyone. But I agree with T - lightweight items are more the way to go.

We have a turbo scratcher Rory and Larry have it at present as Minimopsical lies across it so doesnt send the ball very far  :rofl: :rofl: But I would possibly buy another or similar.

Lightweight Gifts for cat lovers would be good as I have to post out several small catty gifts each Christmas and really struggle to find things. The calendars were a Godsend.

I can see them appealing to some people. I have to admit, my sister kept sending me framed photos of her kids for xmas  :-: which I put in a suitcase in the loft as I hate stuff like that. Eventually I told her the truth  :evillaugh: She has a good sense of humour - luckily  :evillaugh:

I would be more inclined to keep cat memories. Kylie said I can have her stuffed and use her as a doorstop  :evillaugh:

Yes i see your point hun it's not for the cats but a gift for human slaves if ya like them.  But i wondered if peeps would like that sort of thing so putting me feelers out.

There will be a great section just for the cats with toys and sniffy stuff esp for them in the shop as well as photo products & gifts for cat lovers.  :)

Sorry Tan they are lovely if you like that sort of thing and are lucky enough to have furbabies to call your very own,especially people who start with a kitten; but extra cleaning,something else for the cats to knock over and break,just not my sort of thing. I think a scratching post is more purrsonalised if you get my drift.

The baby ones i have seen thst are the same are on sale from £20 to £30. We would sell them at £19.99 - £21.99 each. that woudl include the profit to go into the shop rescue fund.

If its the same stuff you can get for babies hand prints (which i would think it would be)  I didnt rate it much as the ones i had never looked anywhere nearly as good as what it did on the picture, it also crumbled very easy a year or two later and i had to chuck em out  :tired:

I am getting some of these in as examples for the shop and again i can only find these in USA. Our supplier of Da bird stockes them and has given us a good deal again on them but i was wondering what you think of them? I would have loved one of these for each of my bridge babes.
