My friend who is more talented with a camera than I am has taken  a great picture of Xanthe - once I get it on my memory stick from her I will post it on the site.

Hey, welcome!  :welcome:

I used to live in Islington before I moved to Cambridgeshire.

Sorry to hear about Binky, he must have left a big hole in your life. My best mate has a Siamese and well, mad doesn't even begin to describe Frankie. I've cat sat him and it's never been dull.

I am in Hanwell, near Ealing. Our new Maine coon is also proving a handful, she has just swiped my nose and given me an enormous scratch! I look forward to hearing about your cats antics too!

Nothing like a siamese to make your life interesting. Those little monkey paws periscoping around the worktop as you chop up the liver, sigh. Welcome to the site Lucy

Hi Lucy and  :welcome: to Purrs

So sorry to hear Binky .... I adore Siamese's ... never a dull moment when you have one of the cleverest, noisiest, cheekiest  of all cat breeds in your home.

I hope you have a fab time on this forum ... we are a very friendly bunch.  Can't wait to see a pic of Xanthe when she slows down enough to be photographed

Hi, I have been reading your site while researching all things cat so thought I'd introduce myself. I have just acquired a nearly 11 week old silver tabby maine coon, having lost a much loved and mental siamese to a road accident earlier this year. I have a picture of the siamese, Binky, but the maine coon, Xanthe, won't sit still long enough to be photographed! Binky was an amazing cat, his favourite trick was to open the fridge and help himself to anything he fancied. Xanthe is still a cute fuzzy ball, and her personality is still coming out!
