I tried the kittens on several different kinds of dried food. Favourite is JWB.  ;)

What problems did you have with wet food? Its important especially for male cats.

He kept getting an upset tummy.
The people we got him from only put down biscuits for their cats (whatever brand was cheapest to buy apparently)
so he was having rubbish biscuits and mummy was still allowing him to feed .
We were told to try him on dry food as thats what he'd been used to before we got him, he'd never had meat.
We've opted for James Wellbeloved as Missy is on the adult James Wellbeloved so hoping all goes well
they'll be on the same food in the future.

We'll see how we go the next few days on this food and go from there, watch this space lol

I pouch each twice a day is enough, any more and you possibly are doing them no favours long term. I have over the years one cat weighing less than 4 lb and others weighing 15 lb plus, those on wet food have had what you cat has and have all gone on to live to late teens (well some  are  still here and who know hopefully well live into their 20's)

Mosi has some James Wellbeloved and Orijen (the latter available from zooplus).  Both go down well.  but he does eat anything I give him  ;D

Only two!!! You get off lightly. If they don't get two in the morning and two at night I get even less sleep than they give me now  :rofl: :rofl: The dry is just something to keep them happy during the day. Well they get a pouch each so its 4 in all,hey if they had more I'd be bankrupt,I go through nearly 3 boxes a week now :evillaugh:

Not sure how to take that  :evillaugh:

I was in PAH the other day and they still have the offer on their premium kitten food

2 x 2kg for £10
2 x 5kg for £20

Well medium and large bags, not 100% sure about the weight - their own premium is high quality. I think Helen buys it now.

Little Merlin is sitting here helping me type tonight :) I've been forgiven for having to shut him away yesterday and today.
Yesterday we had a few relatives round for youngests birthday and the kids were in and out of the house because they'd been given bubbles to play with, so Merlin
shut away so he didn't get out.
Today we were decorating the hallway so we had to shut him away which he wasn't too impressed with, but since we moved in 7 and a half years ago we haven't decorated the hallway and it was in a bit of a mess, so we got the whole downstairs hallway done and it now looks much better.
We still have to do up the stairs and the upstairs hallway though :-:

Thanks guys will pop in the petshop tomorrow.
What is this zoo place people keep talking about i've never heard of it is it a petshop?

Wet food is good for cats,better than dried,well I think so anyway.  Whats made you go onto dry only?

no, the little darlings are happy to scoff either. Eukanauba is a more familiar brand for me, as it was available in Oz and NZ, but JWB seems to be a good quality food, so basically whichever is on special at Zooplus (lol) I supplement with felix pouches, which they vacuum down.
