Grr, comp lost my message from last night.
Your welcome Gill, she started playing with her tail as i was reading your message last night, I love watching her play with her tail. 14 isn't that old, although in this house it is, before last August, I had only had one cat that has got past the age of 14, and that was only for a month.
Please spay your cat

Cuddles (and kisses!!) duly dished out Ellie- she did grumble a bit though, cos I caught her unawares.
She is roughly 14 now Gill - have just given her a kiss and cuddle from you as well, she is now debating whether to get back off my knee!!

Sarah (Sar) brought a toy over the other week, and we have just had a really good play session, and I was so incredibly happy watching her rolling round on the bed enjoying herself, esp with the bad year she had before she came here. She is so spoilt that if she doens't get off the bed within a certain timespan for her food, I put it on the bed for her!! She does deserve it though, bless her. I am going to bring her blood tests forward to next week though, she is drinking more, and it is only after she eats her supper (dry food), but at her age, I am not going to take any chances.

She was, and it was just a shame she had to wait 8  months, but there was obviously a reason, and maybe if she had come to me sooner, I would'nt have been her forever home. And she is a wonderful cat, I love her to bits - the only foster I have kept!! She is looking more portly, a bit too much for my liking, so we are watchign her rations!!

Thanks Liz, I am really glad that I put her before my feelings, as it was one of the best things I did, and to be honest, I dont think she would still be here otherwise. Forgot to title the pics, the first two are when she first came, the last two are the past week or so. She is very well loved, and gets her own way quite a lot!! Time really has flown. I hope she has many more left too!!

All credit to you Des for the improvement is this litttle girl she looks happy and well loved.  Doesn't time fly when we have furkids just seems like yesterday you were discussing wether to go ahead with taking her on for "the little time she had left".

Please always ask the cat after the vets visit they have a habit of proving us all wrong so congrats Molly on your first year in your forever home and here's to many more with your devoted slave! :Luv:

Molly has been here a year today, I am so incredibly pleased that we have made this milestone. I wanted to foster Molly ever since I started fostering for Cat77, but initially she couldn't catch her, and then other fosters prevented me. I was doing a fundraiser last December, so had rang to discuss times etc, and she said that she didn't think Molly had long left as she was barely eating and doing nothing but sleeping. I sat on this overnight, as I had lost 2 cats that year, and wondered if I was ready to do it again, but decided that giving her a home environment for what time she had left was more important than me getting upset, so I asked to take her on. The rescue initially refused, cos they didnt feel that she should be disturbed. I went back after the fundraiser to take pics for the rehoming page, and she jumped on my knee and went to sleep, we couldn't move her!! So the rescue then agreed to let me take her!!! After 2 days of her barely eating, I gave her some a/d, and she hasn't stopped eating me out of house and home since!! Her dodgy back legs stopped after a couple of weeks, and when I had her bloodtested in January, she was perfectly healthy!! When I made the decision to keep her, the rescue were pleased, as she isnt the kind of cat that can tolerate a lot of new environments, she is very happy here, and has her freedom again, even if she does barely go out!! A year on, she is still looking really well, she has defo put weight on, can't wait till next month when I find out how much, and how well her organs are doing. Here are some pics
