They do sound like the ones with catnip that i'm looking for as well, my two would lick them so much that the catnip would smell awful.  I'll keep looking

The boys have a very similar one, it looks the identical shape and size but is made out of a soft felt/fleece like material, the tail is ribbon with a bell on the end.  If no luck on the mouse hunt front they would happily donate it to Jaffa, it has probably been played with 2 times so is in as new condition  ;D Can take a pic for mouse comparison purposes if you want  :evillaugh:

Problem is it's the fluffy tail he likes.  He carries them around by the tail (which is why it gets stiff with saliva very quickly  ) and when he plays with them he pulls the end of the tail with his mouth and holds down the mouse with a paw.  But thanks for the offer  I can always tell when he's playing with them as I can hear the bell.  He hasnt' bothered with the bell-less one since I brought out the other one.  For some reason he likes the bell on the end despite not generally liking toys with bells.

I'm not sure whether they have catnip in them or not.  It feels like there's a piece of card in the bottom to make them flat along the bottom, then they're just stuffed.  Not sure whether that's with catnip or not.

Our local pet shop sells (or sold) very similar mice (with and without the bells on).  I can pop round and check out whether they still have them if you wish?

 :Luv:

PS Blip would be most alarmed to hear that Jaffa is without a catnip mouse.  :scared:

I've been looking for those mice also, are they the ones that are filled with catnip??  My two went crazy for them, i even had a couple of neighbours cats in my house one morning playing with them, i came downstairs and one was trying to take it out the cat flap!!!  Unfortunately my two ripped theirs apart and ever since i've been trying to find them more.  The hunt goes on!!!

might be worth checking ebay.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Please help avert a potential crisis.  Jaffa needs a new mousey!

Several years ago my sister bought Jaffa and Magpie a toy mouse each.  At the same time my mum bought them one that was identical.  So they had 3.  For a few years they just lay around the place not really earning their keep, and then Jaffa became obsessed with them.  He'd carry them around and drop them at my feet when he wanted attention.  Lately he's taken to playing with them by himself.  One of the 3 went awol a couple of years ago leaving 2.  When I got Mosi I hid one in case he took a liking to them and destroyed them.  The one left out has been looking worse for wear for some time now (and frankly, rather unhygienic but I didnt' dare wash it) and finally lost it's bell a few days ago.  So last mousey standing has been brought out of retirement but he's not in great shape himself, and I dread to think what will happen when he gives up the fight.  I don't know how Jaffa will cope without Mousey!

The mouse itself is made of cotton and they have had a fluffy tail with a bell on the end.  Has anyone seen them in shops?
