Trying to type this with a Ginny baying for attention so excuse any typos!

I'm glad to see she's got into our routine of feeding time and also that us humans are allowed to have a lie in when it's the weekend!

My dad had a pre-op consultation today in London - they want to go ahead with the operation - either a 4 or 9 hour op (depending on whether the cancer has spread to the bone in his nose or not), he'll then be in hospital for 9-10 days. I know dad doesnt want mum to stay in London during this time, my mum doenst like London at all, and bless her, she'd end up getting lost - I have to admit even myself would probably be the same if it were me staying on my own.

Anyway, dad's pencilled in for the 2nd week in September, so that'll be here before no time - I think it's only just hit dad at how serious an operation this actually is - though the main thing is they have said it IS treatable - they want to cut out as much as possible in London, and then do chemo/radiotherapy back in Norwich.

Tuesday last week Ginny officially became our cat!  :wow:

The place we got her from usually let you have them for 2 weeks, and then you officially adopt, but with little Ginny and her having to have vet treatment it became 4 - though have to admit it seems like longer!

They were really pleased that she'd settled in so well, especially with two boys there already, and that she'd not had any ill effects from the surgery she had - which due to us paying half the vet costs for the treatment they were going to waive the £35 adoption fee - but me being me, still gave them £15 - as they are a proper charity and I know every penny helps. Her fur on the side of her face is starting to grow back lovely (the pictures a bit old as that was taken when we'd got her back from the vet).

Sorry I havent posted on here for a while, but my dad got some bad news a few weeks ago in that he's been diagnosed with cancer of the nose, and he's got to have an operation in London as the cancerous bits are right near to his brain, so have had a lot on my plate recently - at least I have a husband and 3 cats I can get a nice cuddle from when I need one.
