Meanwhile, it may be we are advised to be a bit cautious about what we say on the main matter, as the police may wish to investigate it?

It would certainly be against the law to used government property to commit fraud - I think if you gave them all her aliases + a description, they would probably be able to work out who it is and take steps.

If you know where she was using the puter is it possible maybe to contact them and tell them the whole story as if its an adult learning centre it may be that they dont want to be connected with behaviour like this and can trace her from there.

Don't know how helpful the centre would be, Data Protection and all that, but others at the centre might be able to shed some light, she may have sent out some sob story to them as well, hope not, but if this is her nature she prob conned loads by now, mores the pity

Hi hunnies
It awful when we have a person who has upset us all (esp two of us badly) and had our trust betrayed by a "supossed" friend in our community so posts showing our feelings are only natural. It's so sad that there are people out there that do these things esp on the internet and i am one, like most of us on here,  who tend to trust people at 1st.  Thank god we are in the majority! We gotta be pretty careful in this thread or any other not to post any things that can be seen as a "threat" to anyone.

The collection for Les and Sue is going well so thanks sooo much for all you wonderful peeps for helping.  Keep em coming in hunnies cause the more we get the better cage Les gets  ;) :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
 :thanks: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think it's obvious this person has problem of one kind or another.  :tired:

But if we have a concrete address I will try my best to arrange a house call - I wasn't kidding about the Glaswegians.  ;) :evillaugh:

I think it's obvious this person has problem of one kind or another.  :tired:

I think motives are more likely to do with mental health issues than anything else. Given these accounts relate to an Adult Educational Institute, that would be my hunch. Maybe this person wanted the cage as they were told by carers they had a keep a kitten in a pen?

Who knows.... speculation isn't going to solve this.

When I was typing my post I put "quite a large lady" and then deleted it because I though it was rude, but yes she was quite large.  (why am I worried about being rude about her).

Bloke with her was definitely not Italian.

It's sad that some people can sink so low.

I'd really love to help, but having just had to replace some stolen items myself (phone, mp3 player and usb key) I'm well and truly skint for the moment. I know how it feels...

no i dont think she could be a child/teenage.  All far too devious for that.

Mark yes there was a long debate about kitchen & litter trays ages ago.

Lesley was "lisa" quite a big person ?  If its the same one she told us she was very overweight.

just another thought, do you's think it would be a sensible idea for admin here to notify all the other cat forums we know about with the relevant i'ds / details and a big BEWARE

(i'm thinking, catchat/feline friends/hovel and i think there are a couple of others too.)

I mean there are others in uk that she may be preying on just like she has here.

Forewarned is forearmed, good idea Lynn can't do any harm, they might have this info already, might have been stung themselves, shame
