Here is Hill's animal testing policy. I would like to believe it is true. I'm sure if they make false claims, they would be challenged in court. They say they do not perform any experiments that require euthanasia, nor do they perform any that would cause pain. I really want it to be true - if so, BUAV etc should take them off the boycott list as they should be applauded, not hounded if they have changed their ways.

This is the bit I think is very important "Hill's does not support or conduct studies that cause pain or hurt the dogs or cats. This is based on the belief that what is painful to humans is also painful to dogs and cats."

I often do, thats why I joined animalsasia. I have a BUAV leaflet about animal testing on the table at my B&B so everyone that comes in my house sees it I also avoid products made by companies that test, mainly P&G therefore bold, fairy, flash, bounty, head & shoulders, pringles etc are all banned from the house. I always tell people about Iams. I do what I can when I can.

Is there a link for a petition mags?

Its terrible. I saw online that they have changed the way they count them and the numbers are on the up. They should be ashamed. I was pleased to see L'oreal have developed a fake skin and the results are more accurate than testing on animal skin. It just shouldn't be allowed. (Government officials responsible should have the testing done on them  )

We all hear about experiments being made in the name  of medicine, this is a load of bull as stating this they get away with doing these unnessesary babaric stuff.....


Some facts from BUAV leaflet that i was sent today

Animals are being .....poisionsed.........starved.........deprived of water/sleep/food............smeared with eye irritants............subjected to psycholgical stress....deliberately infected with disease.......brain damaged..........mutilated............... paralysed................irradiated......burrned....gassed....force fed......electrocted ........................& much more.


There is NO legal obligation to use anaestheic or pain killers...............these 'humans' just love hearing the screems & crys of animals..............3 MILLION ANIMALS are subjected to this before they either die during or killed after.  Dogs/cats/mice/rats/guinea pigs/monkeys/pigs etc  ...even pregnant mares are used for female hormone stuff then the unborn foals are killed.

None of this is anything to do with the name of medicine but they say it so they can get away with this.
