Apache and Squaw had me crying at bedtime last night. 24 hours after they've been trapped, AND had their first ever visit to the vets, they let me tickle their foreheads.
Sure, they were still shaking, and Squaw was still hiding behind her brother, but no hissing, no scratching and no making a run for it when the cage door is opened...
This morning, I went back in and realised that ever since they've come back from the vet, they've been using the tray!
They had covered up their little jobbies so well, I hardly saw it.... Next trick is to get them NOT to sleep in it as well.
I was too exhausted to go out last night. But I'm off to try get Mum and any others tonight. (Not sure about there being others as I only ever saw 2 kittens with mum at one time.) Hopefully, the gap of 48 hours will mean Mum has forgotten about the trap...
