I really feel for this poor little darling. I was so pleased when I heard she'd been caught because we were trying to get her for a couple of days. I don't know why, but I imagine she's like my Tilly in nature. I couldn't bear the thought of her being in trouble like that but having no shelter.  :( Tell Caroline to give her a cuddle from me.  :Luv: :Luv:

Finger's crossed the vets can sort her out and that this tumour is an isolated case.

Lilly another lost soul!

Hello
This is Lilly a female *young" we think that has been hanging around in Canterbury since Feb apparently. Fed by lots of people.. She developed a swelling nr her eye and we were called by the lady that had been feeding her for 3wks, as the RSPCA has not responded.. I thought Lilly had a bad abscess nr the eye but when i took her to the vets today we found it was cancerous.. Poor mite, its a big as an acorn and although dosnt seem to bother her must be annoying her.. Being so nr to the eye is a huge problem. She is on antibotics for a week to see if the swelling goes done and then back to teh vets next week with an idea of trying to remove it.. But a delicate op and no guarantees of success as it may just return again... We have no idea how long its been there.

She is a lovely natured, really unusally colouring and i suspect in the past did belong to someone.. Lets hope we can do our best for her...

So now in are care with have Milo a partially blind puss, Mabel, FIV and thyroid problems, Jesiri with all this problems, 2 long term cruelty cases and now Lilly.. Oh dear we seem to be getting such alot of poor mites lately............
