Well, this report would appear to have done some good!  I've done 2 homechecks this morning for Canterbury CP of folks who saw this article and called to offer homes.  Both we're successful.

Well, my local branch of CP is currently choca with cats - they've even had to split some pens in two to take them all in. And my friend who fosters oldies for them has had to take a pen full of kittens in her spare room...

It's so sad really. Shame I'm not in a position to foster for them - trouble is, as a freelance I can't guarantee my whereabouts from one day to the next...

Just seen a BBC News 24 - within the next hour they have an interview with a cheif vet from CP HQ

It's official. This year is one of the worse for a long time for levels of unwanted kittens. It's countrywide.
