I can safely say Da Bird has unleased Nala's inner kitten

She usually looks down her whiskers and refuses to join in such things...Darcy and Rosie have always played with great enthusiasm!

I am very impressed - all three cats were pinging round like Zebedee... and are now snoring.

Well I've discovered something better than da bird - da bird without da bird!

Tbh neither Jaffa nor Mosi go for the feather attachements to the feline flyer (very similar to da bird) with Mosi preferring the tassles and Jaffa the pom pom, so I wasn't particularly surprised when Mosi lost interest in da bird after a couple of days. Last night I unclipped the feather and Mosi had a wonderful time chasing the string

He got really out of breath and panted so much I had to stop the game. He was happy to settle down to sleep for the night shortly after

Will definitely have to get some of the other attachments.

Wait for it. The other 4 arrived so I'm taking them over to my mum and sister's tomorrow. Some pics and videos of Boo and Pippa chasing will be added later I am sure..

Lexy is not allowed to play for another day. She went mad this morning, knocked over a vase I had, which thankfully did not break like the blue one she shattered the other week... dya think we can claim damages from the manufacturer?

My old cat Rizla used to have a toy like this and its true, it had the strangest effect on him. His character changed and he became as close to a wild cat as possible. Its the only time I have ever heard a cat growl!!!! lmao Just remember to put it away as it will be destroyed otherwise.

Mine came today! Perfect timing cos the kittens had been closed in the living room most of the day while I was getting new doors fitted. So they got to run around for half an hour with da bird after. They were very wary for a good 5 minutes and I didn't think they liked it, but they were just sussing it out I think. When Tigger went for it the rest all followed.

Do ya know we have sold 50 da Birds so far with 10 preordered on the 4th order lol

Because of sales and because the 1st £100 made from the shop was going to Lesley's rescue (eight lives left kitten rescue) we have been able to add the £100 profit to Les's cage fund and buy her a lovely replacement kittening cage.

So everyone who has brought a da bird and accessories has sooo helped our Les

Collected Da Birdie from the P O this morning

I have never laughed so much at a cat playing with a toy, he's going mental

had to go into the garden to play with it so he would have more space to throw himself

the mouse bounced across the grass like a real one, hes now sleeping 'cause he knackered, end of round 1

Think this is toy of the year

Da accessories arrived today.... Da boys verdict

Da Mousy - Very popular with Lu Lu as he is not as good a jumper as Riley. The mousy is so light that it can go superfast, also because the string is so long on da bird pole with a bit of movement da mouse can cover a huge ground area aswell as flying through the air for those spectacular jumps when desired

They look hilarious chasing it - like a motorcycle and sidecar - wherever the mousy goes they go together

Da Puff - Looks like feathers but a very light puffy version, not as directional as da bird and a little bit more floaty rather than whizzy but even so lots of fun

Da Sparkly - Even though this was the third toy tried they still had the energy left to go

for it, a hit with them both. Lukey had it in his mouth and because it's shiny material with nothing to lock on to like da bird I managed to slide it out by pulling really hard - he wasn't impressed, the look on his face as it slipped through his teeth was classic

So.... Paws up for all 3 accessories from the boys

Here's a pic of Riley yesterday discovering where da bird is kept, every time I go to get breakfast cereal or pasta out they go mental and come rushing in to see if it''s playtime

charlie is going NUTS! he thinks its real! he's growling at it!!!

i didn't think i would be THIS popular with mines, i'm actually needing to hide it as i type

missys a bit wary of it, tilly LOVES it as does charlie..

I can't believe this.

My two oldies are having a great time. Buddie was even panting after the game and Samson was doing back flips. BUT my little Pepper is afraid of it. She runs away from Da Bird. It was mainly for her that I bought it 'cause she needs to lose all that weight. Will persevere with it though. She will just have to learn how to play at the age of 9 and not be such a sissy.

but i thought it was the charger i ordered, didnt expect that to fit through the box but i guess it could have been da bird number 2
