Erm.. Let me be the first to say that Carl was a puddle of droooooool when he saw the little man. Never seen someone go so gaga for a cute little kitten. Tabasco is gorgeous. Adorable little tyke.  And Carl was the first person Tabasco stayed still enough for all day! :shify: :evillaugh:

Looking at him this morning you`d never believe he had been poorly;his eye is clear and no sneezing. He is a greedy little gannet who likes to sing the Feed me song non stop despite being wormed.  :)

aww, bless the little mite, can't believe people were giving them away so young and then she didn't want him once her other cat was back, but he is lucky and will get a wonderful home now.

Just to say that I got to cuddle Tabasco yesterday and he is real cutie!  He is tiny, but VERY vocal!

While I love them all...I have to say my vote still goes to the black and while cupboard babes.  It is a shame that most people calling the Inn at the moment will only consider the tabbies and gingers.   :(

bruiser has been missing 11 days now, [... ] the story fills me with great hope that Bruiser will still turn up.

We all understand what you are going through  :scared: and have everything crossed that Bruiser will saunter back soon.

Yes, there are many cases where cats have been missing for a lot longer than 11 days - I myself reunited a cat (Zsa Zsa) with her family last summer - she had been missing for three months and they had given up hope.

oh bless him, i am somewhat shocked that someone could so quickly 'replace' a cat that has gone missing, bruiser has been missing 11 days now, and as much as his sister is missing him, i wouldnt considerfinding her a friend for probably 3 months, we have 2 other cats to keep her company, but they aren't great pals like she is with bruiser as they are so much older.

is it normal for people to do this so quickly?  however the story fills me with great hope that Bruiser will still turn up.

well as much as it makes my blood boil that "she" isnt paying for mother to be spayed, i'm just glad she's going to be done.  Perhaps she could be persuaded to atleast fork out for drontal at the very least and perhaps vaccs..although i've no doubt that would be pushing it.

I should say we traced the mother cat but sadly Tabasco`s litter mates had been "got rid of" womans words;we are going to pay to have her cat spayed.

He's so cute, I can't believe he was rehomed so young and even worse returned like an item of unwanted clothing (although of course he didn't come from Paws Inn).  Am just grateful he found his way to the Inn where he is guaranteed to find the best forever home, what I would give for that home to be with me  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

Ahhh what a little sweetheart ... he looks like a mini version of my Sox (RIP).

Poor little darling ... 5 weeks old and sent to a new home for 2 weeks then given up again  :(   at least he is in the best place now ... getting lots of TLC.

« Reply #1 on: July 20, 2007, 12:17:11 PM »
Tabasco was brought to me early yesterday evening; a lady had lost her cat 2 weeks ago and got a 5 week old kitten as a replacement, her missing cat (entire tom) returned yesterday so Tabasco was surplus to requirements; he doesn`t realise what a lucky escape he`s had.
He is 7 weeks old with a huge wormy belly and  a very gunky eye which I cleaned and applied fucithalmic to last night, its really helped, took him to vets this morning as he is sneezing too and his temp is 103 so vet says we have caught him just in time,he`s had a couple of injections and hopefully will be fine.
