"Burmese are extremely people-oriented; their personalities are almost dog-like in a tendency to shadow their owners and in a desire to give and receive affection."
He even wags his tail like a dog when he is happy, not very cat like at all
Sorry to hijack the thread but can't resist posting this lovely picture of him
Hope it works!

Awwww, his face looks very like my Swamp, the burmese hooligan
. However His Swampness says any resemblance to a 'dog' is highly offensive. A 'god' maybe lol. They are hopeless without people though, that's true. They'll stop sleeping and change room if you do and they do demand constant interaction - play, affection, special games. They are amazingly good company.....however not that easy to ignore when you are trying to work from home hee hee. Very 'helpful'. And as kittens - well, my brother once watched the Swamp flying around the place at 11pm each night and remarked "not exactly the best choice of cat for a little old lady, the burmese, is it?" Now you've reminded me, Swamp lost all his babyteeth while biting OH's arm and being swung around violently -he LOVED that. When I see my little old man lovesponge now...aww.
that's a lovely pic of your boy. He's purr-fect
