Do you think the new insulin may be doing its thing, Lyn? It's brill that George is feeling well and lets hope this is the turning of the corner for him. As I mentioned, my (human) friend who has diabetes had to spend absolutely ages getting his medication right.

Sorry to hear the new insulin doesn't seem to be working any better :(  Fingers crossed increasing the dosage may make it work for a bit longer.

i think diabetics are more suseptible to cystitis due to the glucose in the urine being a great breeding ground for bacteria (if i remember rightly)

Hope he's back to feeling well again soon and this doesnt set him back too much.

Lyn ive totally missed the george story since before my puter went to hp...whats (in brief LOL) the latest state of play,... last i knew his insulin wasnt for him and he was given a different type which seemed to be going better..did that one stop working too ?
