Try not to fret (oh, so easy for me to say, I know). One of my closest (human) friends had to do exactly the same thing to stabilise his diabetes. That was about 15 years ago...

He's been fine ever since...

great news lyn, i was sure things would look up when he'd found the type of insulin that suited his body.

diabetes as you now know is all about fine tuning and lots of patience.

just glad george is such a good boy for you, makes managing this condition half the battle.

It's a little alarm that the vet gave me. You set it to go off when George is due his insulin and it beeps. You press a button and it turns off. It is magnetic so you can just stick it to the fridge :) You don't need to keep resetting it. It just goes off automatically.
George recognises this now and runs to the kitchen when he hears it beeping ;D

Love that george and glad he is feeling better on the new insulin. :Luv:
