Well it should be.
I picked Cassie up at 5pm - she was spayed, jabbed & chipped yesterday. (I took her elasticated collar off straight away!)
I got 3/4 of the way to the cattery when she let out the biggest meiow I have ever heard. For a second, I thought she had really bad breath - until the smell of poo assaulted me
- At this time I was driving along a country road not much wider than a car. I was just about to open the window when I heard scrabbling. She had her head out of the carrier! (zip holdall type) and was managing to get out. I had to stop but a car came the other way so had to pull into the hedgerow. I wanted to put her back in to carrier but there was the biggest, smelliest poo ever in there and it was soaked with wee (my Tommy jumper!!)
- I realised there wasn't far to go and by now she was curled up on the floor on the passenger side
. I got to the cattery, pulled the jumper out (I was choking on the fumes at this stage) and put her back in the carrier. Anyway, we got her in her pen and she was fine & wanted a fuss
I also met a mum and her 5, 4-week -old kittens. Gave mum (ziggy) a fuss. The kittens had their heads poking of the catflap but Sian said they hadn't gone right through yet and she would leave it to mum to do it - no sooner had she spoken and one came though
I got to fuss all the kittens, who are eating wet food already!. Sian said when they were born, she had a hard time as mum was flinging them around like mice but she is fine now - one has 1/4 of her tail missing where mum was so rough at the beginning
I forgot the camera
- Sian said someone is interested in her so hopefully not a problem - I will go back otherwise.
btw - Cassie is a tortie!!!!
Oh, and I got to draw the raffle from the spring fundraiser
