yeap it's a extra security check that the banks are introducing online. I have the same with my nat west card and you only need to do it once and remember your password.

Well I have no answer for that then, I know my order has been accepted as I have had confirmation from the supplier.

When I went to pay for some good for our Charoty shop yesterday, something like that popped up and I cicked no.
After that all went through as normal.


when i clicked no it said action cancelled  :(

HSBC did this with me once...

It seems they are introducing a chip and pin style thing for the web, as anyone who steals your card can use those details on the web so adding a pin number increases security. As it was a secure natwest window, I'd say that they've noticed you're about to use your card and would like you to create a pin, I'd say it's pretty safe, but if you want to ring them up and make sure, to give yourself peace of mind then do that :)

hi everyone i went on vetuk this morning to oder the girls wormer
and when i went to pay )using my natwest card )
a window came up saying do u want to displya all secure and non secure items i clicked yes
then it was a natwest secure online window and ask for your account number sort code date of birth and to create a pin
is this something dodgy ?????
as its never happened before
what shall i do ?
