Hi Niki, shame it wasn't Jensen, and yes - everyone should keep looking - you remember Lillie about a year ago on cat chat ? then checkout the thread 'Moggy Slot'

Hi everybody.

Thanks for the kind comments and wise words...
We have been off line for 3 weeks now - thanks to Toucan broadband.  :censored:
Unfortunately it wasn't Jensen    :'(
Keith - who was the lovely man who found Billy - as he's now called, has found a lovely new home for him.

So as disappointing as it was, it was still enough to make me realise that cats are coming home every day... so chin up.

I had a dream about Jensen for the first time in a long while. In the dream he had come home. I remember the absolute shock feeling. I also remember seeing his collar on - which I thought odd after all that time (as he has a name tag with numbers) to discover he was called something else on his tag- so fingers crossed he is safe at least... very odd!

Thanks again everyone. niki xxxx

... look forward to that story Sue!

Niki, have you been able to get hold of the guy who found the little cat?
I must admit I would travel to the North Pole just to be sure if one of mine were missing.  Perhaps he could get a better picture to you.
:luck: and fingers crossed it is Jensen.
Best wishes, Chris, Samson, Buddie and Pepper

OOOh Niki I do hope it is your boy.  Does Jensen have anything about him that will instantly make him recognisable .. a nick in the ear or a kink in his tail or something?

I am sending lots of positive thoughts to you and keeping my fingers, paws, eyes, everything crossed.

Please keep us informed.

Oh my word I've been squinting at the photos and they do look similar. Trouble is lots of Tabbys look alike. Obviously you've got to track this one down and at least satisfy yourself one way or another.
Keeping everything crossed you find Jensen.

Hi Helen,

I agree re: the pic being too small - we have had over 30 people (where I work) 'oggling' the pic and giving opinions since I spotted it!? Right down to counting stripes!? To me - the head is my Jensens, no question. We will just have to wait and see I guess. It's painful!

He did have a habit of getting in cars unfortunately. He would always go places he shouldn't - garages etc and never be detected. We locked him in our own garage over night once... and our car for a few hours another time!? So yes I agree it is far away.

Fingers crossed. We shall see... Gut reaction was it's him... now I'm not so sure... :(

I really hope it is him, the photo on the first link is too small for an 'independant' person to see if there are likenesses but he certainly is a very similar colour.  Did Jensen have a habit of getting into cars or vans as I notice the found cat is quite far away from you?

If it turns out not to be Jensen then please don't give up hope, there are lots of success stories on mymoggy of cats coming home after a lenghty absence.

Hey everyone...

I found this link today on -  http://www.lostyourpet.net/RegionResultList.aspx?typeid=2&genderid=&colourid=56&ageid=&town=&lfstatus=1&countryid=1

And BY crickey does it look like my Jensen... http://www.mymoggy.com/photos/c0971Jensen/c0971Jensen.htm

The husband isn't convinced at all. The head of the new kitty, to me, looks identical to Jensen.
TRYING not to get neurotic - but failing miserably.
Have e mailed every ph number/ pager/ fax etc etc etc to the Gentleman Keith who had found this kitty but no reply as yet... RSPCA is closed until Tomorrow - the waiting is worse! :-:

Just had to tell someone as this is the closest sighting we have had to wee man ever.

If it's not then onwards and upwards... he's been gone 5 months now  :'(

Anywho - thanks for listening... niki x
