If you contact vet uk they can normally source what you need, they cant list everything for some reason i cant remember  :) and they normally beat bestpet prices

That's good news Pinkbear  ;D  Do you get your tablets from the vet?  If you do you can ask for a prescription (which your vet by law cannot charge you for) and then order online.  There are lots of online pet pharmacies nowadays but everyone on here seems to go with www.vetuk.co.uk  The tablets my cat Tiggy used to have were literally half the price online as they were from my vets, free superfast delivery on all items too.  I know what you mean about the pill regime, it takes it's toll doesn't it  :(

Thanks! Yes, the Jumpster is tearing around like a kitten with his toy mouse and you wouldn't know there's a thing wrong.... and Mumsey can go sit on the beach for a while.  :evillaugh:

I did research cheaper sorces of meds, and yes there are some... but I don't want to start asking for prescriptions until the vet settles me on a regular dose. I suppose it's a case of not wanting to 'upset' him or start reminding him what the law is. If I did have to go to another vet, the other vet would want to do fresh scans - and that's another £200 odd quid!

But from what I can see from Vet uk's site, they don't do Jumpy's meds anyway. I did find one called Best Pet that does....

Jxx

I have just recieved a call from my vet. Over the next two weeks, Jumpy can reduce his heart pills from 5 a day to just 2!! This is * also good news for me* because the drugs bill was worrying (£16 a week), and because I will eventually get to have a full day out and not have to come home to administer pills.

Edited to make it clear the main concern is our Jumpster in all of this!
