You're not alone MB

Charlie does this a lot!! Esp when his nails are needing trimmed hahaha.
He's a bit better now that he's bigger and can jump on top of the counters, before that he used me as a "ladder" to get up..

I had scratches all over my legs for ages

My kitchen is a small box room and when I was sorting out some chicken wings for the boys Sebastian was sitting on the kitchen table. The next thing I know was when he landed on my shoulder from jumping off the table. Gave me such a fright and gave him one too as he's never done it since.

Archie quite often will try to climb up my body when I am standing at the sink and will also leap onto my shoulder. If I bend he will leap onto my back. My previous cats did not do this so must be perculiar to some and not others. :-:

Bramble, who prefers the company of cats to that of people, will nevertheless dig her claws into me while stretching out upon waking!
If there's meat being carved all three try and climb up my leg!

Sounds painful! But the mental images made me giggle! The little tinker!!
For a man to truly understand rejection, he must first be ignored by a cat.

Dogs believe they are human. Cats believe they are God.

No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.

Attention seeking .... this is the sort of thing she would have done as a kitten (very cute when they are little) and obviously she wasn't reprimanded so has continued to do (not so cute when they have adult claws!)
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

When im standing at the sink she  either claws up me legs/bum or takes a flying leap & sinks her claws into me bum & just hangs there ....last time she did that i got a hell of  fright & nearly went out the window  :-:
