Hi Peeps, its been a while
As some of you may remember, we took on Rosie just over a year ago ( after her owners took her to the vet to be PTS because she meowed at night
)
Rosie settled in very quickly and just goes about doing her thing, just over two months ago, I started getting my head nipped about taking in a kitten... the mum of the kitten stayed at a stable out the road and fell pregnant, an old neighbour of mine took her to their house so to have the kittens, get the mum dressed and return her to the stable, she had four kits.
Yes, I buckled to the pressure, we now also Have Ruby, she's 13 weeks old now, Years ago I introduced Two boys together with no drama, and introductions with the Girls have been taken very slowly
Unfortunately, that's almost a month in and Rosie, the older cat is just not accepting the situation of sharing, I know it's still early days etc, but I don't like seeing Rosie upset like this, I did speak to Sam, n she says possibly getting Ruby neutered would help, that is in the pipeline but the vet said to get the vaccines out of the way first.
any pointers or advice, please? The older cat still has her own space and comes and goes freely (tho she is spending more time outside, more than normal) both have their own toilet areas, and feeding stations, Ruby kitten is usually in the living room, a room that Rosie very rarely enters...
