I was horrified when my son, then a rebellious teenager, was given an air rifle for Christmas by his friend! These weapons are easily available to people with no questions asked, it seems, and can do terrible damage to animals. They are not toys.

Signed.  One of my lost boys, Flynn, was shot repeatedly with an air rifle.  He survived but it was horrific.
