Another of Lily's favourite spots, taken over by Clio, on top of the bread bin. Lily likes to sit there to keep an eye on any food that she might snaffle, but Clio didn't seem interested. She seemed to be just making a point!

I know.  ;D I'm also lucky that Clio, who keeps herself very much to herself, isn't bothered too much by the boisterous Lily, who sometimes starts to give chase, but quickly takes the hint when Clio growls at her.
 The house is much more peaceful than I would have expected!

A few more from this morning. Lily, in particular, is acting a bit oddly. It's usually her that stays out as late as she can, but lately she's been coming in early, and I don't even have to bribe her! Must be the weather. That, or she's plotting something!

I know what you mean Dave, when I had Sammy and Barney, he was about twice her size when I got him. It was so funny, she used to plonk her paw on his head, pinning it to the floor and then would to proceed to do 'forcible washes'. So sweet. :Luv2:

They do actually get some of any meat that comes out of the freezer, but it takes so long to thaw they don't see the connection!

Lily disappeared completely yesterday from about 9.00 am, and didn't show up until after 11.00 pm. She's stayed out later, but I usually know that she's nearby, and my neighbours hadn't seen her either. I was considering keeping her indoors today, just to let her know where she belongs, as she seemed quite nervous for a little while after returning, but I  needn't have worried. It's been pouring with rain, so none of the cats have felt much like wandering!



She has been looking outside wistfully, but she does that whenever it rains, even if the door is open!

Lily sleeping on top of the PC tower isn't a problem, I can still use the computer.



Bramble sleeping on top of the printer/scanner isn't too much of a problem, I don't use it all that often.



The pair of them sleeping on top of the freezer IS a problem, especially as they most often do so just when I need to get some food out of it!
