Before Silvie went off for her treatment she had chest x-rays and abdominal x-rays to check all ok internally and her heart was okay. Everything crossed here for good results tomorrow :)

I hope Frances is now home safely and having a well earned meal and a rest.

Got home from Gill's about 7.30 - two and a half hours on country roads in the dark and drizzle :-:. However, mission accomplished ;D and can't fault the level of care at Langford although, as Gill says, unfortunately no lift access to the first floor cats' area.

Really pleased his first batch of tests went okay and fingers crossed that tomorrow's tests mean that the treatment can go ahead.

Glad you got there and back safely and You've heard some results from them already.  Misa's poor appetite could actually be a result of hisT4 levels.  I think I  read somewhere when Tiny had HyperT that although high T4 increases appetite, very high levels it can have the opposite effect.  Fingers crossed that the kidneys are OK and  he can have the treatment.

I hope Frances is now home safely and having a well earned meal and a rest.

I am sure you will catch up on your sleep in the next few days, I was exactly the same, kept waking up thinking "3 days to go, 2 days to go," and so worried about leaving her there, the treatment etc. Silvie is now sitting on the table with me, purring away, she now even has a bit of a double chin, think she needs to go on a bit of a diet :evillaugh: Bet it was definitely worth it  :Luv:

Glad all went well and you got there okay. I wouldn't worry too much with his T4 levels being over 400, when Silvie arrived at Barton Vets for her treatment, hers was over 500!  Hopefully his kidneys will be ok and they can go ahead with the treatment.  The 1st few days away you will miss him like crazy, but then you will accept it and know he is gone for a very good reason, and every day after that is a day nearer for him to coming home :Luv:

I AM BACK HOME FROM LANGFORD AND FRANCES WENT HOM ABOUT 15 MINS AGO.

TRIP THERE AND BACK WAS GOOD ALTHOUGH WEATHER DISGUSTING.

MISA BEHAVED VERY WELL ON TRIP BUT HE WAS IN AND OUT OF HIS CARRIER WITH ME IN BACK OF CAR SO  DIDNT GET STRESSED.

JUST HAD A CALL FROM ARTSI THE VET AS THEY HAVE COMPLETED AND GOT RESULTS OF FIRST BATCH OF TESTS , THE REST TOMORROW.

HIS T4 LEVEL IS RAGING AND OVER 400 AND MUCH HIGHER THAN WHEN FIRST DIAGNOSED.

HIS KIDNEYS ARE STILL THE WORRY BUT THE TESTS FOR THOSE WILL BE TOMORROW AND SEEMS TO BE THE MAIN TING THAT COULD STOP HIM BEING TREATED BUT SO MANY THINGS HAVE KNOCK ON EFFECTS TO OTHERS.

HIS HEART WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR TFEATMEANT AND THE STRANGE THING IS THAT WITH HIS T4 LEVELS RAGING HE IS NOT HUNGRY.

THEY SAY HE HAS SETTLED IN WELL BUT WASNT ABLE TO SEE IT COS WASNT STRONG ENOUGH TO GO UPSTAIRS AND WE COULDNT EVEN GET TO THE CONSULTING RM THAT THEY WANTED US IN.

I THINK MISA IS GOING TO BE A BIG HIT WITH THE LADIES BUT OBVIOUSLY VERY WARY.

SO TOMORROW THEY WILL RING ME AGAIN IN AFTERNOON AND HAVE EVERY FINGER CROSSED THEY WILL DECIDED HE CAN BE TREATED.

YES YOU ARE RIGHT SUE, THE WAITING IS AWFUL AND MISAMAN IS OBLIVIOUS TO ALL UNTIL HE HITS THE CARRIER.

HE IS SO PEACEFUL JUST NOW BEHIND THE TV AND I AM SURE HE WONDERS WHY SASA AND LUPIN ARE NOT HERE.

HE IS THE ONLY CAT I HAVE HAD THAT HAS GRIEVED FOR THE OTHERS.

I KNOW LANGFORD WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF HIM BUT AM DREADING THE JOURNEY AND LEAVING HIM BEHIND.

AM DEFINATELY GOING WITH HIM.

COMPLAN TIME SOON AND MUST FIND MY BAG TO PUT BITS IN.

FIGHTING TO STAY AWAKE NOW UNTIL FRANCES ARRIVES BECAUSE NEEED TO SHUT THIS DOOR BEFORE SHE COMES IN!!

IF I FALL ASLEEP IT WILL BE A NIGHT MARE.

WE MOVED IN THE CARRIER LAST NIGHT AND IT SITS ON TOP OF CAT TREE, DONT THINK HE HAS NOTICED.

ONCE CARRIERED UP WE HAVE COUPLE OF THINGS TO TAKE WITH HIM AND JUST FINISHED MY NOTES TO GO WITH HIM.

JUST VERY SHAKEY AND WILL HAVE A COMPLAN BEFORE FRANCES GETS HERE.
