were those the ones you posted about a wee while ago ela ? thats great.  Yes so many people are actually going overseas to work its quite a common occurence.   (unfortunatley just not me  ......the dream was great while it lasted - can you believe i think they have just organised the postiion hubby was meant to get at his old work    I knew that would happen although if he'd remained at the old work sods law would have had us still waiting !!! )

I get quite a few calls about people emigrating and to me it is one of the most believable reasons. I was lucky recently when someone called who was emigrating to the USA and had 4 (i think) cats. and asked could they come in? I could tell she wanted to keep the cats so I advised her  of the facts (I did write about it at the time). Anyway a couple of days ago I received mail to thank me and to say they were all no in the USA.

but i see so many ads saying they need to find homes for pets because they r emigrating

surely everyone isnt leaving the country

Sometimes they do. Not to say they aren't genuine, but I have a friend with two cats she loves more than anything but won't put them through gruelling quarantine because she has to move with her job, so she's having them looked after by someone else rather then have them locked up for ages in another country.  They could be genuine, lets hope they are.

friends were going to take him but can no longer take him on

ive emailed the poster asking if she/he would consider a rescue
that way the cat will be found a decent home with decent people

not had a reply back yet
