No they dont go out he was bombing about the house like a LOON yesterday but also noticed that the cat tree had fallen down as well ..

He is sleeping now which the vet said means that the painkiller is making him more relaxed so able to sleep !?

I do hope that it is just a sprain ...the butter of it is that i cancelled my cat insurance last week and new one i have taken out wont cover him   :scared: :scared: :scared:

Fingers crossed he will be fine !

Well been at the vet this morning and he has been given an anti infamatory (he said it was very swollen) ..he said his carpus and surrounding areas looked like they were damaged but he could not be sure.

He wanted to do an xray bu i stupidly had given him his breakfast so have to wait until tomorrow now ..he has managed to get onto HIS sofa though but is certainly not himself.

Poor little thing howled his head off in the vets, the vet thought that he had been howling like that since he hurt his foot !!!

He weighed him as well he is 5.5 kilos ..he said he  is in great condition apart from this!!!

No there is no sign of a bite he will let me touch his paw it seems that he can't bend it though  :(

I phoned the vets and they have said to monitor and see how he is in the morning  :(...I am so worried for him ...

Poor little mite is curled up on my lap although he normally purrs but no purring now  :(

It might be worth ringing the vet up and seeing what they would advise, they may be able to give him some painkillers til morning.  Cat's are very good at hiding pain, and if they do show it, they are usually in some discomfort  :(  I once had a cat in with a broken pelvis, he had a slight limp on the back end, and the owners left him over the weekend before I went round and took him in for an x ray.  I hope he's alright bless him, xxx

when i first got makosi nearly 2 years ago

she jumped on top of the freezer one evening then fell off and fell in the bin

i quickly rescued her but she was limping and holding her paw up crying

she was only a baby
i was so worried
i rang emergency vet number and they told me just to let her rest and bring her in next morning

which i did do
and they gave her a painkiller injection

she was fine after that
back to normal

just keep an eye on him
let him rest
if he wants to stay on ya knee then let him at least then he will be resting  :Luv:

Poor little Mister  :(  It's hard to say what to do, hopefully Lynn will see this and be able to give some advice. If it was one of the boys and he didn't seem in pain then I'd monitor him until tomorrow and if it was no better then take him then.

Only just noticed that Mister is limping on his Front left paw i have given it a fell and there are no signs of cuts and he doesn't want to move is currently sat on my lap ..he doesn't seem to want to bend it ..he is holding it up  :(

I am so worried he is not being himself and seems quite down ..He was fine earlier he is eating i just gave him his dinner but had to bring it to him  :(...I dont really want to go to the emergency vet as i had a very bad experience with them and would rather wait till tomorrow just dont know what to do in case it get worse through the night..

OH said i am over reacting an it is probably a sprain what would you do ?
