Is Dora stripy or marbled on her sides?  If she's stripy then she's a blue mackeral tabby and white DSH and if she's marbled then she's a blue classic tabbby and white DSH

i bow to Lottie on this one, she's the expert on these.

Would say Dora is a Grey Tabby and White DSH and Oscar a Grey and White DSH. Can't see any markings on him. But yes pretty Moggies!

They are wonderful, how adorable.

As Lisa said Moggy is a shorterned version for Mongrel but as you can see we use it affectionately for domestic non pedigree cats.

Tabby means the markings on the cat, usually striped cats or spotty cats or marbled typed patterns, no matter what colour.

Tabby refers to there markings ... moggy (or DSH = domestic short hair) refers to their breed.  Any cat that's not a pedigree (with papers) is a moggy.

Hope that clears it up :)

Blue (grey) cats aren't particulaly rare it's just the dilute form of black so to get a blue kitten both parents need to carry the dilute gene (you can get a blue cat from 2 black parents) so to be perfectly honest I don't think they are any more likely to be stolen because of their colour.

They are very cute kittens though :Luv:

no I fully understand they are moggies and that do's not bother me I am just curious as to what breed they may have in the blood lines as I have been told differant breeds have differant characteristics,

I was not being snobbie as I paid 40 quid for the kittens so I'am aware they are not cat royalty

I'm proud Mum to two grey tabby kittens aswell  ;D  I do think grey cats are more 'desirable' but I don't think I'd keep them in based purely on their colour, nasty humans and fast roads are reason enough for that.

Lovely pics  :Luv:

Your cats are moggies, as you can't prove who the parents were, but there is nothing wrong with moggies. grey cats are rare, and yours are incredibly pretty, but my neighbour has a grey and white and no one has ever tried to nick him (although he is very overweight, and hates being picked up, so they would have a struggle!!)

Hi I have been trying to find out what breed my kittens have in them as we have been told that the father was a pedigree cat of some kind anyone got any suggestions,

also someone on here just said they look like normal tabbies but with them being grey keep them inside as people seem to have a habit of nicking grey cats because of the rare colour?,
